Hikaru sat atop the tip of a building watching the bustling town go about it's daily tasks whether it be merchants trying to sell goods to make it through the day. He never really realized that this was the town he worked for to protect from any threats. To him it was a way for him to continue his growth as an assassin. Dashing across the rooftops he could taste the salty air of the nearby sea, even behind his crimson scarf. The direction he was heading was back towards the mercenary training grounds back near the headquarters in a secluded forest...I wonder if Raziel has anything coming up soon... Would be nice to be busy for a bit... He sat down atop a small bell tower just to get a better view of the birds flying free in the sky. It was actually quite peaceful to him and brought calmness to his mind. He sat quietly and began to meditate for a bit to get in touch with the life forces in the area. He could see everyone's aura radiating from the vessels of their physical bodies. Some glowing brightly in youth and others slowly withering away with old age. In the mean time he gathered his thoughts and tried to bring balance to his own aura.

Ladro S. Bronzswell

CRACK! CRACK Ladro listened to the steady beat of metal pounding upon metal. CRACK! CRACK! Within the small workshop the sound seemed to echo to him. His arm rose and fell almost mechanically now, his own control seemingly lost over it. CRACK! CRACK! One hit. Crack! Two hits. Crack! The shape of the sword finally came out right.

Setting down the hammer, his hands blindly reached out. His gloved fingers felt and wrapped around the handle of the tongs. With them he grasped the shining hot blade and forced it into the water, hot steam shooting out into his face. Feeling the sweat that threatened to get into his eyes, Ladro pulled out the now cool blade and looked it over. Seeing it in as good of a condition as one would expect from an apprentice, he let himself have a small smile.

Then he went to work on the finishing touches, putting on the blade guard, the handle then, and a stopped to keep everything in place. Giving it one more look over he nodded in satisfaction and placed it in the cart with the rest of the weapons and supplies that had been ordered from them.

The cart creaked and groaned under the weight of its load as Ladro pushed it through the busy streets, his focus being on the ground beneath him as he pushed. Twice he nearly ran someone over, and thankfully twice they managed to get out of the way in time. No one bothered him as he headed toward the forest, and specifically the spot he'd been told by his teacher to deliver the cart full of weapons.

Akemi woke up in the morning after a good sleep. She stretched then jumped out of bed and got dressed in her usual outfit. Fixed her bed then went to her mirror and brushed her hair hair and tightened the obi on her waist and tied her signature white ribbon in her hair and made a big bow. The longfield girl smiled at her appearance then grabbed a piece of bread and grabbed her bow and quiver of arrows and wore the strap of the quiver. She ate her bread then waved to her parents before leaving. Wipes her mouth then runs into the forest where the training grounds was. It was a lovely day outside and a smile graced her lips as she felt the wind blow. She eventually arrived at the training area and didn't see anyone. "Hmm I guess no one is here yet" Even Raziel wasn't there yet. He would usually be here by now. She assumed she got hear earlier than everyone else. She felt her face go warm then shook it off in frustration." Hmph... knowing him Raziel is probably off flirting again.." she said then just shook her head.

Ah, such a nice day outside today - and as usual, Raziel was out there in Fox Hollow making the best of it. While he'd woken up in a cold sweat earlier this morning, memories of when his eye had been lost in that fateful battle several years ago plaguing him in his dreams, the Tensui had simply let out a sigh and begun his day - there was no use in trying to go back to sleep after that. Having gotten some training out of the way already, Raziel figured it was time for some breakfast, catching a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll at one of the only cafes that were open that early in the morning. Of course - it was also the only one down by the docks, which meant he had to stroll through the shopping district to get back to base.. and shopping meant one thing. Women.

"Hey baby~" A charming voice would call out from behind a rather attractive woman with blonde hair, who would turn to look at whoever was speaking with a rather innocent expression. There Raziel was, a twinkle in his eye and a flirtatious smirk on his face, that single emerald orb looking the woman up and down swiftly before continuing with his ploy. "Are you a parking ticket? 'Cause you've got fine written all over you~" A wink and a grin directed at the woman now, she seemed to just stare at Raziel for a few seconds before beginning to giggle, but just when he thought he had her, one arm slung over her shoulders to start escorting her through town, a loud smack could be heard on the street. A clear and defined red hand print having been established on Raziel's cheek, the woman would growl and give a 'hmph' before stomping off to do the rest of her shopping.

Not even phased except for a slight wince, seeing as he must have been somewhat used to it, Raziel let out a chuckle as he rubbed his cheek, "Hah, guess its too early for her~" Another excuse, though it was probably true; women seemed more likely to flirt and spend time with him when it wasn't first thing in the morning. However, that's not to say Raziel was promiscuous - he just loved to flirt around; in all reality, if he ever found a girl, he would end up a one-woman man. But, who knew when that would be - he could just have some fun for the time being. Since his efforts were in vain though, it was time to get to what he was actually supposed to be doing. "Hm... I guess I could go back to Russell, I'm sure several of the others are up by now." Raziel thought aloud, the Tensui male slipping his hands into his pockets as he began walking the streets.

Since Akemi didn't know when everyone would show up. The Longfield girl walked over to the targets that were set on the trees."Well I guess I can doing a little target practice while waiting for everyone to show up.she said to herself. She positioned herself at a good distance away from the targets. She got into the right post position with her left hand holding her bow in a side ways stance. She used her right hand pull the bow from the quiver and pull it along with the string. She carefully aimed and shot at the targets all around her one by one. She was able to get all of the targets having at least one arrow on them. This brought a smile to her face. The young girl didn't lose her touch after all. She had to help out at home so she couldn't practice as much. She thought she would be a little rusty, Fortunately that wasn't the case. She pulled out her arrows from the targets and continue shooting at the targets. She stretched a bit between shots.

After a good amount of meditation Hikaru decided to move into the streets passing by crowds of people a smile crept to his face. He was approaching a familiar figure walking in the same direction as him. It was Raziel, "I see one got away.." He said simply, noticing the red hand mark on his cheek, he began to laugh, "At least you get to actually approach them though, they usually run away from me." He said crossing his arms with a slight smile behind his scarf. He patted Raziel on the back, "Good to see you Raz... See you later as I am late for training." He said as he took off down the street to leave Raziel with his business. Hikaru entered a forest and hopped from tree to tree and arrived to the training area. There he saw the girl known as "The Bright Beauty". He approached her calmly. He didn't stand too far from her, "Hi. are you Akemi, A.K.A. The bright Beauty?" He asked with a slight smile behind his scarf. He gradually studied her so he could remember her face, "I'm Hikaru, pleasure to meet you."

Hearing a very familiar voice speak up from behind him, Raziel turned his head to peer at the one and only Hikaru with that single green orb, grin visible even up by his eye. That remark causing him to let out a chuckle of his own, Raziel would nudge his comrade in the arm with his elbow before winking at the man, "Oh, you'll find one that won't run sooner or later, Hikaru." What Raziel didn't understand was why Hikaru didn't already have a few lined up - from his own personal experience, a lot of ladies love the mysteriousness of a mask, or in Hikaru's case a huge scarf. Shrugging his shoulders slightly at the thought, Raziel would nod with a bit of a two fingered salute/wave as Hikaru took his leave just as quickly as he'd shown up. "Alright. I'll catch up with you soon, bro." Making it known he would be at the forest himself soon for some more training, Raziel was simply going to take his time for the moment, seeing as he'd already gotten some training in this morning before anyone else was even up.

Continuing his walk down the street, Raziel would close his eye and take in a deep breath, breathing in the fresh air with a faint salty taste from the bay back behind him. It might be a good day, but at some point he would have to relay to his fellow mercs about the mission to take place soon. Though the Desert Bandits had no idea Raziel knew of their plans to attack Niyaka within the next few days, it was a good thing he had eyes almost everywhere; that's what good friends were for, wasn't it? Opening his green orb to find a boy up ahead pushing a huge cart, and almost running into a few people with it, Raziel would tilt his head before a small smile would form on his lips. Heading up to the boy, Raziel would call out from behind. "Hey, kid,"

Catching up with him, Raziel would look at the boy only to find his memory registering the face with a name; Raziel knew this town like the back of his hand, and while not everyone knew him, he certainly knew the most important people - including those from the blacksmith's shop. "Your name is Ladro right, from the blacksmith?" Slipping his hand from his pocket, the mercenary leader would gesture to the cart Ladro was pushing by himself, single eye catching sight of some of the weapons inside. "Need some help with that cart?"

Akemi picks up her arrows from the targets and put them back in her quiver. She then walked back to her spot and lower her bow hearing someone behind her.The Bright Beauty turned around to face the white haired man. To most people be freaked out by his appearance but it didn't bother her at all.She listened as this man asked if she was Akem A. K. A. The bright beauty. She couldn't see his facial expression much because of his scarf though." Yes, I am Akemi also known as The Bright Beauty" she said smiling a bit "And you Hikaru Nacuna right? Notices him studying her but pretends not to notice it. Wanting to make a good first impression. Didn't want to cause any trouble.

Hikaru could only smile seeing that she didn't immediately have a look of fear on her face from seeing him at first. It was actually quite a relief for him since his eyes could be a little intimidating. With his eyes closed in delight he responded simply ,"Yup, that's me." He had heard her name before through Raziel when he had been talking about the members of the Hollow Mercenaries. Hikaru loosened his scarf a bit as he took a seat. He closed his eyes seeing a large golden aura vibrate from her. It made him feel a little more at ease and trusting. "I see you've been the only one here.. Sorry I'm late." He said opening his eyes back up to meet her gaze. He could only hope that he wouldn't creep her out since that was how some people took it. The nice breeze did calm his nerves a bit though.

Akemi smiled and nodded in response that he comfirmed it was him. She remembered hearing his name when Raziel mentioned to her about other members of the Hollow Mecenaries. She leaned her bow against the tree for a second. Turned to face him hearing his voice again.He apologized for being late after noticing she was the only one there for the time being. Her eyes met his seeing them being opened for a bit." Oh don't worry about it. I did get here pretty early. I even managed to get in a little target practice while I waited for everyone.she said trying to reassure him that she didn't mind and smiled

Hikaru stretched up lightly, "Well I guess the early bird does get the worm then." He said in response to hearing that she already got some target practice in. He set his katana down on the ground and looked back at her. She was a very beautiful girl and was very sweet...I guess that is why they call her the Bright Beauty.. It suits her well... Hikaru looked up to see the sun rising a little more, "Hm.. Raziel should be coming soon.. I suppose that's when I'll start unless he has something else in mind... Or rather I'd probably skip training and do something else." He said crossing his arms with a sigh. Of course though Hikaru wouldn't skip training without Raziel's permission. If they did they would probably go back to messing around in the busy streets of Fox Hollow. He looked back to Akemi's golden eyes.

Ladro S. Bronzswell

The sound of someone yelling behind him made Ladro's back stiffen. Taking his hands off of the cart he turned to his left. The first thing he noticed of the man who'd yelled in his direction was his bright red hair. This was quickly followed by his gaze noting the man's eyepatch, and the man's name came to him quickly. A name he'd heard uttered in hatred by a drunk voice enough times to have it burned into his memory. Raziel Tensui, the leader of the mercenary group who made Fox Hollow their home.

Unable to help himself, Ladro's shoulders stiffened more when the man spoke to him. Unconsciously he'd turned around to face the man fully, his face as unreadable as a mound of sand. When the older man questioned him about his name he simply nodded to let the man know he'd guessed his name correctly, and that yes he was from the blacksmith. He twisted to his left again when the man gestured toward the cart, unable to comprehend what the man needed with the delivery.

The offer of help made Ladro snap around to look at the man. "H-huh?" Staring at him, honest surprise penetrated through his stoic face for a moment before it quickly faded away. "I have got it. I was told to deliver it, so I need to do it." Turning back to the cart he began to again push it down the street as if he'd finished his conversation with the man.

Akemi heard his comment about the early bird getting the worm it made her laugh a bit in response. Noticed him look at her for a second then looked back up at the sky. She saw the sun rising a bit. Listened as he mentioned that Raziel should be on his way soon. Hikaru said he might start his training unless Raziel has something else planned for them.

He did also mention he'd probably rather skip training and do something else. Notice he crossed his arms and sighed when he said that. It would be wrong the skip training but then again. They could do whatever they wanted if Raziel didn't show up if he was "busy . The Raziel she knew that his flirting days would get him in trouble one day...Felt Hikaru's gaze on her again and looked back at him."This person is different to me from what I heard about him..." the girl said to herself

Akemi snapped out of her thoughts hearing him saying something. Saw him tilt his head and asked her if she said something. Suprised to hear that but just simply shook her head." It's nothing I was just taking to myself"she said with a small smile again. Hikaru then suggested they should just start without Raziel for now and asked how she would like to go about for training. The Longfield girl thought about it for a second. She noticed he had a sword and she had a bow and arrows.[colors=darkgoldenrod]"Hmm I guess we could do some fighting training with a sword." she said and she grabbed a spare sword from the shed and locked it again and went back to him." I need to do some sword training anyways." she got her sword ready with a determined look on her face.
