Welcome to Gaia! ::

The Gorilla Guard, named Morgan, stood up tall from hunched state, in the hopes of seeming more imposing. Now that he was separate from the girl and her chemical he could once again fall prey to his own emotions. Morgan began an assault on the buffer between himself and the girl. The glass window was built to withstand attacks, however it was more often the prisoner who attacked not the guard. The gorilla attempted to unnerve the young girl. Unfortunately, Lilac was well aware of the glass and the safety of her cage from any danger on the other side. This enraged Morgan further, the gorilla had proven himself to be an idiot in his own eyes. He let out a large roar and gave one last pound on the glass. It was like attacking a brick wall, useless, and also caused him quite a bit of pain to do so. The guard grabbed at his belt, reaching for his keychain. He unlocked the cell door and threw it open. Morgan however, in his state of pure anger forgot about the aroma that soon quickly overtook him once more due to the size of the cell. The man calmed down. The smell of flowers dispersed out of the cell further. He growled and slowly closed the door. "You harmed my friends, You should be in cell, you are problem." He sighed, he knew that there was no way that he could cause the girl harm without her, in turn giving each bit of pain back. "I make sure you stay"

---> Lilac watched as the gorilla pounded his anger out on the glass. She wondered why he could be angry at her, she didn't do anything today beside her regular schedule, wake up, eat, sit quietly, eat, sit quietly, and then she was escorted to the doctor's office where she was tested on. Maybe he did not like plants? Plants were often the most easy-going, they were fine with sitting still and existing, they were nothing like the animals who would often yell at their captors and roam their, "cages" as they put it. Perhaps this is what a zoo felt like for the animals inside, after all the animal experiments seemed rather similar to what they were mixed with. Lilac liked the idea of being someone tough like the animals. But she was peaceful, almost beyond fighting.

---> The gorilla then spoke through his anger with her, she had hurt his friends. The two guards who had pushed her around after they grabbed her. Lilac didn't do anything on purpose it just happened, whenever something touched her skin often her body would respond instantly trying to root and gain nutrients. She looked at the man. "I am sorry... I meant no harm they grabbed me wrong. It just kinda happened, I didn't mean it I swear... please don't be mad." The girl smiled, "Besides that they are okay. I didn't take too much skin. I mean yeah, they bled but I'm sure they will be able to grab stuff in a set amount of days! Just you watch them!" Lilac was simply trying to stay optimistic.
Morgan was annoyed with Lilac's optimism. To Morgan it was all smart a** comments and sarcasm. "You no talk about friends, you stupid body hurt them. make Morgan want to hurt you." Morgan scrached his knuckles and turned around while he thought long and hard about how to get back at Lilac for hurting his fellow guards. He scrached his head and thought about how he could hurt her physically without having to get close. then smiled when he finally came to his conclusion. He turned around to face Lilac with big curious eyes. "What bruised your arm?" said Morgan in a concerned tone, as he remembered seeing the large bruise encased in the black circle. If doctor can make big bruise, maybe Morgan can make big bruise too, that will show stupid flower girl. Morgan so smart. thought Morgan.

---> "My body isn't stupid... It can't even think, it just kinda does what it can to survive." The girl laughed, the hulk on the other side of the glass said he wanted to hurt her but when he heard about how her body does it's own thing she figured he would be nicer so sure enough she would tell him everything. Then Morgan mentioned the bruise that was on her arm, truth be told she had forgotten about it and it was developing into quite the dark spot on her arm. The opposite arm rose and a finger reached out, and she poked the bruise. "Ouch! That still hurts."

---> Lilac looked at her arm, that section of her arm unfortunately didn't allow any rooting to take place. She sighed, thinking about the pain sensations that came from a single drop of whatever it was that the doctor had, it had felt like fire. "I don't even know." She laughed at the thought of it all, she knew it hurt but she never asked what it was at all. "The doctor took this stuff that was green and dropped it on my skin... THEN! It turned blue and started hurting REALLY bad! Whatever it was I don't like it..."

---> Lilac wriggled her toes in the open, she had forgotten to put her shoes and socks back on. She frowned, she liked that pair of socks they were orange, she traded her socks with a transfer from another facility, Lilac's old ones were black. Such a bland color. She would need to get her socks at some point.
Dr. Orion came hurridly up the hall towards Morgan and Lilac. He was annoyed as they had changed her cell and took her away without him knowing. As he approached Morgan turned and asked "What you want with girl?" Oliver responded "I wasn't finished running tests on her, but since she's here i guess we'll continue with that tommorow, however i would like to run a psych screening with her. so if you'll leave us." Morgan turned and snarlled at Lilac and proceeded to march angrily away.

Oliver looked at his chart and then looked around at all the odd assortment of experiments staring at him. "How have things been going for you these past few weeks?" Oliver thought of how the screening was a waste of time as he already knew that she was going to answer in a positive manner. Oliver once again looked over his shoulders and even the other experiments turned back to themselves as they too already knew the boring process of answers.

---> Lilac waved as the guard made his way away from the cell, she didn't know if she wanted to see him again but she figured it would be worth it to say goodbye. Her attention soon went the doctor, a Mr. Orion, she smiled warmly. She liked him being around, he didn't attempt to use her for the chemical which was what made her smile most. He said something about having to do more tests, she was not all too happy with that idea, but she wouldn't let that get to her.

---> Lilac sat down on the edge of her bed looking over at him as he asked his questions. She thought, how had the last few weeks been? Truth be told she hadn't asked herself that in a few weeks since the last time she had been asked. The girl placed her hand under her chin and began to think, "It has been great! My room has stayed clean, I think this one is the same size too so I won't feel out of place at all. I mean there are new people to get to know but I love meeting people and I bet these people will be great! Nice too. They haven't done much to welcome me but hey, they were asleep when I walked in." She smiled, and then leaned in, "I bet that the one over there will be the nicest to me" Lilac said motioning to the experiment across the hall. "How have you been Doctor?" She smiled warmly.
Dr. Orion smiled as he was warmed by the young girls happyness "I'm doing well" said Oliver as his smile quickly faded with the thought of all of todays mishaps. He's been terrible since he woke up. Oliver thought of how the hormone may have effected her ability to consider atrocities and asked her "What would you do if everyone here died today and you were trapped in your cell?" even he cringed at the thought and tried imagining himself in the situation. I wouldn't last long emotionally he thought. Now all the other subjects we watching, even they wanted to know the answer.

---> Lilac stopped to ponder the question. Never before had she ever been asked this, it was never on the usual set list of questions. She started to think about what would happen to her if things happened. The two experiments across the way from her watched intently as if what she would do might help them discern what she would say. Lilac then smiled because she had arrived upon a conclusion. It seemed quite simple to her. "I guess I'd have to find a way out. Either that or starve... actually it might be dehydration that gets me... I don't know, I'd die just like everyone else right?" The girl grabbed the edge of her seat and kicked her legs back and forth as she liked to do when she sat. She didn't know if her answer was right or not but she hoped that it was. She didn't want to be wrong in front of everybody. "Am I right?"

Dr. Orion was disappointed with the response he got from the girl. Oliver had hoped to see something new from her, perhaps a bit of depression, he sighed as his eyes traveled around the cell block. The doctor looked at the other subjects and they too had looked bored by the response, possibly hoping to see her mood get ruined. However, the girl was still as chipper as ever, her mood had not changed a bit. Dr. Orion looked at the girl as her legs swung. Was she truly unafraid or was it what she had in her blood that made her unable to fear it? That would be a great test for her. If he could, he would find a way to remove it from her blood, he would have to ask the questions later after that. "What would you like most in the world?" asked Oliver, curiously...

---> Lilac stood up and moved next to the door where she again sat down, she was in no rush to answer this because there were a lot of things that she had perhaps been missing in the years passed by. She had been here for nine, almost 10 years. At one time she had attempted keeping track, but that was in her first cell, she had only made it a couple months of recording before it all went belly up and she was moved losing her exact day count.

---> Lilac thought back to the days before, half a lifetime ago when she was free, she could remember the apartment that she and her father shared, she missed the man very much and she wondered what happened after she disappeared. This was one of the few times in years that he ever came to her mind, was he what she wanted in life? No, he couldn't be, she didn't think about him enough for that.

---> Then Lilac remembered exactly what she wanted, the one thing that she had almost every morning even if it were momentary. The thought warmed her soul almost it seemed. She remembered never thinking much about it when she was younger but now it just seemed to be the only thing that gave her a feeling like that of the soil on her feet and the nutrients running up her body. She smiled as she looked at the man who waited patiently for her response. "I guess if I could have one thing, just one, it'd be to see the sun again as it rises, that'd be good enough I think".

Dr. Orion became depressed after hearing about Lilac's wish, as he too missed the sun. He had been at the facility for almost three days now. Trapped in confrence rooms discussing various scenarios and progressions that might occur during his time as a scientist working with the numerous test subjects. Whatever time he was not in the conference rooms he was either in the cafe or his quarters. Lilac however had gone nearly ten years without daylight, sitting in her cell or participating in the scientists experiments. A flower without sun is a miserable sight thought Orion. "Perhaps I could requisition you an ultra-violet light for your cell? It may not be the sun, but it should be an adequate substitute." said Dr. Orion, in an attempt to give the girl something to hold onto.

Dr. Orion continued his way down the list skipping the less important questions and focusing on the more inter-personal ones that could catch someone off guard, as those always seem to be the most intrigueing. Oliver finally zoned in on one that caught his eye and he quickly spat it out at her. "How is your menstrual cycle been? Everything ok there?" Lilac gave him a strange look and adjusted, Oliver was just as uncomfortable as he thought she was but he hid it to portray his professionalism.

---> Lilac smiled at the doctor, at least he was trying to help. Truth be told she hadn't even the faintest idea what this weird light would do for her. Ideas floated about her head as she tried to imagine anything that could imitate the sun. However the sun was too large for anything to compare, at least in her mind. "Thank you very much, but I wouldn't know the difference between the light you'd give me versus anything else. Light is just light I think." She shrugged.

---> The girl tilted her head to the side, it was an odd question. She had never experienced a cycle, that was part of the plant in her preventing such things. Honestly, she looked at him oddly because if he had gone through her file at all it would have to have been listed somewhere. After all that was a very important part of perhaps why she was unable to mature. Although her body had grown and even gained a feminine look to it, plants didn't have that 'pleasure'. Lilac smiled, "Sorry, but I've never had one ever Doctor. Shouldn't you know that?"

Dr. Orion quickly fluttered through the charts and approached the menstration chart attached to a packet. It was labled N/A and an additional note stated that "It wasn't an area thoroughly covered and still needed to be researched, and documented. The notes that cover the basics are located in FILE 8P23" Oliver stared in disbelief as to how proposterus it was that such an area had gone so unexplored. There were so many theories that quickly flustered through his head, as he tried to comprehend all of them he came to the conclusion that the other doctors must be confronted on the matter.

Orion however, could not abandon his patient mid-screening. So he contunued down the list and picked the next question. "Its been a long time since you've seen your father, or any family for that matter, how have you been dealing with that?"

"If you wish to experience peace...

---> Lilac fell backwards onto her bed and she sighed. "My father and I never really talked, so I mean I didn't know enough to miss him, in my opinion. I talk to the other experiments more than he and I did when I was younger." She rested her head on her hands and adjusted her head to see the man. "And my mother and I... well after I saw her... when she was the botanist who did this to me, made me a flower. That was a bit over the top in my opinion." Lilac thought back to the moment when her whole life seemed to become a lie before her eyes.

---> Day 3, she had been abducted and then was moved to the private labs in the city. There she was pulled into a room filled with gadgets and gizmos that meant nothing at the time. There stood a woman, dressed in white holding a tool that she would later find out hurt more than anything imaginable. They laid her across a testing table and began to attach wires and the works to her body. Lilac was scared, alone, feeling as though she might never live through the day. The small ten year old girl lay there looking at the name tags of the people who surrounded her, however there was a name that stood out. It was one that would change her life, Samantha J. Wheatley, her mother, still alive and in the flesh.

---> That was her last memory before waking up a flower, the last image in her mind was her mother's face. She would always remember that. More so, Lilac wondered if her mother knew who she was when they worked there. She smiled at the Doctor. "But I don't miss them if that is what you are asking. We are divided, no need to look back at that part of my life."
