Sweet Appetite


You may visit the Eiffel Tower, or just stroll alongside a fancy scenery with a date. You might even take them out to some of the finest wine, but Sweet Appetite Café is the ultimate destination for all couples, or even single women. The staff is entirely made of boys, the cutest from all around the world, and they’re here to serve their customers with sweets and smiles. Don’t forget that cup of tea that’ll compliment your meal. As you come in, you better ready yourself. Whatever happens by day quickly changes by night. Two faces confront one another every day, and an inevitable storm might be brewing right at the corner.

By day, the café is filled with the sweet aromas of freshly brewed tea and France’s best patisseries. With an experienced patisserie that holds dear to his reputation, a manager that personally greets all customers with a smile, and a waiter that will makes every order special, you’re sure to be coming here many, many times for more. Although not many work at the café, the workers are like precious gems that will see to the customer’s happiness. In fact, though some would consider themselves regulars, most have no idea of the other side of the café.

The doors close after working around and the back door opens revealing a complete different side to the café. The tables are pushed aside, and dance polls are revealed while the kitchen quickly changes into a bar station. Then you have the back rooms where the entertainers – manager, waiter, and others by day – turn into entertainers for homosexual, male customers that desire a bit more attention than a mere couple asking for a romantic lunch. The lighting changes that of a dance club and the entire relaxing, romantic atmosphere changes into that of party and drinking. Flirting and dancing are right around the corner at this café, and the restaurant thrives this way. It successfully hides its opposing faces and only shows what it wants to show, but whatever happens in the backrooms are never to be spoken of.

With the armed forces pushing the Sicilian mafia out of Italy, they quickly travel to Paris where conflict occurs between the exiled Sicilian and the French mafia. A fight for the territory is going on under the city’s streets, and it doesn’t seem like either side is about to give up without a fight. After a few fights, the Sicilian mafia has temporarily backed down while the French hastily takes the city back. Business has to keep going, but they also have to drive the Sicilian out while their power is diminished. Lately, they have been targeting all small shops like corner stores and small restaurant that seem to be the most promising location of Sicilian members. They must investigate without stirring suspicions and then annihilate all opposing forces that may arise against them before they actually do. Lately, a group has been investigating Sweet Appetite Café and, while the other workers seem to appreciate the extra business, the manager seems to be quite nervous and eager to kick them out all the time.


Sweet Appetite


The French mafia is out to ruin the Sicilian and all who oppose them. The workers desire for more business and go about their daily life. The manager must assure the double-face of his café and protect those whom he’s come to care for. Unfortunately, their lives will take a turn for the worse as secrets are exposed and bonds are made or broken. Somehow, they must pull through and find a compromise that will accommodate everyone.

Yes, literacy. Gaia's controversy of literacy, how amusing. Well, first of all, I want people who can type. Proofreaders are a novelist's bestfriends; keep that in mind. Now, no one is perfect - even though some people pretend to be - and we are not your enemy. Literate role players are an endangered species of humans! We must stick together at all cost! Lets nicely help one another and make this role play an enjoyable one for everyone! Now, I would appreciate some content. Yes, this is the part where I tell you that a you can't type less than three paragraphs. Give us some meat to chew off of! I can't type a reply with three lines! I need some content to work with, everybody does! If you can't post a minimum of three paragraphs, I'm sorry but this isn't the place for you. Of course, long replies are always accepted!

How wonderful is it to be able to join a role play where you don't have to commit to it? Well, if you're one to think like that, get out. Press the back button or something but don't think about joining. Seriously, I like an active role play, but I also understand the fact that some of us have lives outside of Gaia. I do too, I work every day, and sometimes I work day AND night, but that doesn't stop me from getting my stuff done! I make at least one post per day. If you can't post more than three times a week then don't bother joining. Also, don't join and disappear on us. If you have to be gone for more than three days, please warn me before hand so I don't delete your character and force you to start all over again. Also, if you're gone for more than three days and you haven't warned anyone, I'll send you a PM. From there, you have twenty-four hours to reply to it and state your motive before I delete your character.
