Setting herself down onto one of the trees she had cut down, Abigail waited patiently for anyone to show up nearby. Looking again toward town, she grew a little worried. Her family's bakery was near where all the smoke was coming from. "Hope they are all okay..." Staring, she slowly became aware of an odd sensation in the air coming from somewhere nearby. "Huh?"

Standing up, she looked in the direction it was coming from in curiosity. Then she heard someone say her zodiac sign. "Oh. Another champion." Picking up her Naginata, she walked off toward the source of the voice, finding him just past a couple of trees. "Hi. Boss send you here?" Seeing him slumped against the tree made her curious, but she kept a safe distance for now.

Skylar glanced around as Neir spoke. She scanned around the room, stepping carefully across the floor. As soon as she heard the click that came from Sho's steps, she immediately knew what was happening. Damn, she thought to herself.
She started running, the giant metal orb rolling towards them. She thought to what Leo had said. "The traps are fatal." So they must be able to inflict pain. "The only way to get rid of them is to dispel them." And that where I come in I guess... She closed her eyes, focusing on the mass behind them. She tried to control it, to make it do her bidding... to make it go away. The ball's image wavered, and it slowed. She stopped and turned around, facing it. She willed to ball to disappear with all her might. She must have over-estimated how well she could control her powers, or at least, should of know she had never done anything like this while practicing.

At the last moment, the metal ball faded into the air. Sklar opened her eyes, finding it gone. "Well...lets try not to do that again?" Though she knew full well she would have to push her powers more before they got the relic.

Elyzia sighed, and got up wordlessly. She nodded. "That sounds like the best thing to do at the moment. Those seem like our only options. We would be going kamakazi if we tried going against him again blindly. We need to learn more about this. And she seems to be the most 'friendly' person who seems to know." She looked about the bodies strewn across the area. Maybe she didn't know who these people were, and might not even liked them, she would make sure she would avenge them; and make sure she prevented anymore innocent peoples deaths... especially her friends. The day her mother died, she vowed to become a doctor, and would not let anyone else close to her be ripped away by tragedy.

Rummage, rummage, rummage some more, he leaned into the trashcan digging until he was up to his waist. "Ahhh, there you are beautiful!" came the exclamation as he pulled from the bottom a half eaten apple. "What a waste, your still even shiny aren't ya babe?" He said it as he rubbed what was left of the red side on his grimy shirt.Suddenly he shivered, something was going on over in the park, he had seen a big crowd over there earlier, and some sort of commotion had been going on almost all day. Maybe there would be leftovers there, or better yet, still some stragglers hanging around he could bum something from. He strolled down the street savoring every tiny bite of the apple he could take. He shivered as he walked, he was always cold, it had been worse than normal as of late though. He blamed it on the cut to ribbons shirt and barely wearable shorts though. Walking in toward the park, he skirted the very edges of it before meandering more toward the center, he whistled as he looked down in to the crater "Guess it really was one heck of a show" he mused as he walked around it, he bit down onto the core of the apple swallowing it whole, no sense in wasting food after all. Something about one of the nearby houses caught his attention suddenly. It drew him closer, and then something conflicted, he felt simultaneously drawn both toward the door and away from it, the edge of town, ish, maybe? "Huh, well I guess I do need a place to sleep since its dark and all, lets just see if the door is unlocked" Of course it was, and so he entered peeking his head in at first checking to make sure it was empty. There was more to the house but he just wasn't that intrested and so he propped himself in a sitting position in the nearest corner, and drifted off to sleep, clutching himself as he did, "It's really cold in here" he thought.

"AWH CRAP!" Azaylit had been caught up in the moment but suddenly realized that everything around him had gone dark "I have to go, find the blindfolded one, I'll try to stay in contact but it will probably involve a fair bit of sneaking out. Not to mention I'm probably going to be in a fair bit of trouble for staying out this late, thats assuming i can even keep my involvement in this...secret." All this he said as he tried to brush himself off, and started walking away, and then he broke out into a run not even waiting for a response, heading back to his school. Once he finally reached it he found the main gate locked, luckily thats exactly why there was a rope hanging from his window. Pulling himself through once he had scaled the wall he was greeted by a sarcastically shocked voice "My oh my look at you, little heathen, sneaking in after a late night eh? So whose the lucky lady?" Casting a wicked glance at his roomate, Azaylit quickly undressed and prepared a new unifrom, that one would probably have to be trashed. "Come on man, how bout just a few details?" He continued to ignore him as he climbed into bed, "Hmmm maybe its not a lady at all then." His roomate stuck his head up over the edge of Azaylits bed "Got something ya need to tell me little buddy?" He was obviously teasing but Azaylit thought it might be best to lie and admit to one minor transgression than admit his participation in the minor battle that had taken place, "Uhh I met her in town today and we went out for dinner." He had no idea what he was talking about so he didn't go into detail, besides that seemed to be a satisfactory answer based on the snoring coming from below him.

A rather large yawn and a stretch brought movement to the other wise still surroundings, a melancholy girl with long black hair and dark eyes stared blankly at nothing for a moment before she stood, brushing debris from her dress and she pulled a few twigs from her hair. A quick glance around and she located the bag that she carried with her and the bow that was attached to it. She picked them both up and she pulled the bag on, rolling her shoulders lightly before she looked about, and started off in a random direction. She was not sure where she was headed, but she was not all that concerned with it at the moment. She just wanted to get moving and to find a place where she might be able to get some food and maybe a place to bathe.

Sighing deeply as he noticed the metal ball vanish. Sho took a deep breath and then wiped a bead of sweat from his brow. Turning back around he saw a doorway, blocked by fallen rubble. Looking around it he saw what looked to be fire. On the other side. Touching the back of his hand to the rock he could feel the heat pulsing from them.

“Well I think this next part will be a little more difficult” Sho said as he turned around and looked at the others. Nodding toward Neir “Okay, your up” he took a stance behind the helmeted man. Careful not to step on any pressure plates.

Tenko looked up and was about to say something to Azyilt when he saw the other started to run away. Reaching out to grab him he stopped and then resigned himself to sitting. Looking toward Elyzia he reached up and wiped some of the ash from her cheek.

Standing to his own feet he held his hand out to help her. “Come on, My house is on the other side of town. It should be a safe place for us to go for now. Until we can gather ourselves and then proceed forward.” The events of the day where running through his head like a whirlwind. He just wanted to go home and fall asleep.

Leo looked toward Cancer and coughed. Raising an eyebrow when she had mentioned 'Boss'. Tilting his head to the side he said “Oh, You must mean father. Yes well I guess he could be seen as an employer of some sorts.” Standing he began to walk toward her, and then sitting down against a tree closer to her. He looked up at her again “What all has he told you?”

Trying to find out if anyone else knew as much as he did or even if they knew anything.

((@Partydude11- Feel free to make up some stuff if you want. The reason the back story is so veuge is cause I wanted to give people room to develop their characters how they wanted to and add their own little twist onto the role play. ))

As Leo called the boss father she couldn't help but look at him with a questioning look. Really, she couldn't help but think, 'Father? He has kids? Huh. Who knew trapped deities could get laid.' Keeping an eye on him as he moved closer, she blushed when he sat down on one of the trees she had managed to cut down. 'I really should have stopped sooner with that one...'

To his question about what she had been told, she at first responded by pulling the naginata off of her shoulders and setting it on the ground, leaning it against a tree. "Well... He's told me he was a... well god was the word he used. Apparently he had been running this library when a bunch of people like us went and sealed him up because they mixed him up with an evil god. Seems that just recently he's gotten enough of his power back he's been able to finally communicate with some of the new champions and get them to help free him." Leaning against the tree as she spoke, she seemed to remember something as she stopped. "Oh yes. He also told me the other champions have all been put under the sway of that evil god he'd gotten mistaken for."

Nier gave a brief nod, stepping passed him, rotating his shoulders, his eyes closed behind the helmet he wore. He placed a hand on the warm stone, he felt it out and smirked, "Cake." With that he placed his other hand on the stone with a grunt of effort he began moving the rubble, easily shrugging the large stones aside until the door way was visible to the group.
