-Story-

Decades ago the underground base called "The Hollow Haven" was established by a legendary commander where he began to secretly create an army of warriors, But his age soon caught up with him and his dreams of making a place for warriors in the world seemed to die with him and the base faded from history becoming a legend in itself.

Until a group stumbled upon the abandoned facility just south of Durem and decided to revive it starting their own HQ and establishing a group. They were mostly former members of an organization known looslely as the assassination army made up of a bunch of colorful characters creating a unique family of sorts. With this a new formation of fighters have surfaced hoping to recreate and mold the Hollow Haven into its former glory and reclaim the rundown city of Avalon and restore it to its former glory.

With so many different beings needing a place to live after many falling outs in both good and evil organizations like the Island of Herald and the Assassination army, and some having nowhere else to turn because their home was destroyed or deserted. They took up refuge in the city and populate most of the areas, creatures aswell as humans live side by side and high tech and supernatural abilities are common place In Avalon making It a diverse melting pot. Because of the population boom economic problems aswell as housing and crime became issues leading to the steady decay and decline into poverty in the slums.

-The City-

The city called "Avalon" is set between the edge of a large lucious green forest and a barren desolate desert.The city is very lively but sadly Its infested with crime and many criminal oganizations much like Durem north of here. This city is just like any other major city leaving a multitude of places and stores with a large police skyscraper in the very center trying to keeping the relative peace. The Death toll and poverty levels are high making It a very dangerous place to live but vigilantes try to help and thrive so It can be a better place for everyone. The city has potential and Is home to many people of all species and races.

Homeless people and junkies occupy the slums at the edges of the city near outskirts of the city and many criminals are known to make that area a base of operations for themselves. The inner areas are more populated by hardworking civillains aswell as the oganized crime element made up of many different types all trying to cut a slice of the city for themselves. Many supernatural beings also dwell within In the city both good and bad making It quite a diverse place.

There Is a lucious world outside the protective dome of the city with a dense forest and a barren desert both hiding some things from the past, two abandoned bases reside within. To the North Is the city of Durem and the city of Aekea to the East, Barton and Gambino are a bit further away.

Death Dealer Merc's was a base deep in the green lush forest that was run by a being known as Artic Wolf but has since been either destroyed or abandoned by its members and was once In a small dispute with members of the Assassination Army. Its unkown what dwells within the base good or bad.

The Assassination Army was a ragtag group of warriors who took refuge In a base located In the middle of a desert and was stocked full of interesting members, It was run by Dante for some time and then the base slowly dissolved after the loss of members and friends aswell as multiple attacks leaving it a barren dusty shell of its former self.

The Avalon juctice building Is located In the center of the city and towers over many of the buildings.The different divisions all work together from this central tower and try and keep the balance of power In their favor.

Chinatown is a small section of the city that is populated by many people of asian descent aswell as many themes about town.The Triads are known to occupy this area and ruthless when It comes to protecting their turf.

The Underground Is a popular club scene located underground In a massive basement of sorts and Is one of the largest clubs In the city.Its filled with loud music and alcohol as far as you can see aswell as many ravers and Dj's making It a crowded but fun hangout.

The Slums are known for the many abandoned and condemned buildings and warehouses aswell as the filth that litters the steets making It seem as If the area Is dead to the world. Vagrants populate this area and constantly burn fires In barrels to light the way and keep warm since Is so dark and gloomy. Its also a very dangerous place since the police tend to steer clear of here and the criminal element have been known to frequent this area.

The Avalon Prison and Asylum Is home to many inmates and the insane that managed to get caught. The ratio of criminals and police are very uneven making It hard to rid the city of all crime. The prison has very few people who have ever escaped It but It does happen usually with help from the outside world.

The Avalon Arena Is where Deathrow inmates compete as gladiators for their own personal freedom or mostly just for entertainment. Think of It as a modern day coliseum.

Avalon Park Is a fairly large lucious green park consisting of quite a few acres of land deep In the heart of the city populated with all types of trees creating a utopia. Many beings and creatures tend to gather here to escape the constant noise and stress of the city around them and some have made It their home.

The Red Light District Is the only seedy part of downtown and Is known for heavy drug activity and gang shootings.

-The Haven-

This underground base is kept secret from everyone on the surface at all costs so that our existence isnt compromised. These underground facilities, used by Mercs and other Fighters, are connected by the city's sewers and subway's systems. There are only a few ways in or out. One way is through the few subway entrances and the other is through a main sewer line connected outside of the city. A few closed and abandoned subway stations are our main entry into the haven but even simple manholes can gain you access having been turned Into an elavator of sorts for fast travel to the Haven. Our underground facility has all the comforts of home plus all the excessories of a highly advanced military training base, giving us a large array of rescources.

We have one basement floor and a ground level floor each with living quarters for our members as well as a kitchen and mess-hall to keep them fed. The basement floor is composed of a training area for sparring, a shooting range to test out weaponry, and a workout area filled with equipment and a built in hottub and pool for rest and relaxation.

-City-

The active police force is the first line of defence in the city using non-lethal tactics to heavy firearms given the situation. They come equipped with light body armor, a small sidearm, usually a modified nine milimeter handgun, and an electric stun baton for incapacitation. They use flying hovercraft for their police vehicles giving them access all over the city to take down law breakers. It makes it easy for them to chase down and capture people on the surface nonetheless since everyone else uses regular transportation.

They also have a barrier field established around the entire city to protect them from a full scale attack using Electromagnetic energy technology encircling the city from a security control center in the Police headquarters.The barrier is made up of electric currents that can deflect almost any metal object as well as kinetic energy to create a physical solid blue wall to prevent any intruders.Their are checkpoints located North, South, East and West of the barrier that allow entrance into the city with security personnel to check the identity of people and their vehicles though It still hasnt stopped the crime on the inside or stopped them from getting In.

-Haven-

Is an underground training facility and fortress that was abandoned decades ago and was recently found and restored by the Havens members.
The subway entrances into the Haven have special proximity mines that are hidden beneath the concrete that can detect and alert our personnel of intruders. These mines are the quivilent of a small brick of C4 making it easy for members of the Haven to collapse a tunnel or entrance when givin the word.

Further into the labyrinth of sewer tunnels are a multitude of booby traps ranging from strategically placed trip wires to mechanical spikes that come out from the ceiling or floor to impale unwary enemies. Deeper within lie motion capture cameras that can also be programmed to sense body heat using thermal imaging and can use nightvision to catch any sneaky intruders that make it past our traps in the dark. As a back-up incase an intruder bypasses everything else,there are slight breezes through a few tunnels that our detectors capture. If there is a slight disturbance in the wind patteren, the sensors can pick them up and create an image of the figure that disrupted the wind movement. The wind is maintained by fans hidden throughout the tunnels close to the base.

All our members have an all purpose cummunitcation device small enough to fit in the palm of your hand that allows them to stay in contact with each other or relay imformation regardless of the distance. They are equipped with light body armor and modified nine milimeter pistols with extended clips for more ammo capacity. Attached to their belt they carry frag grenades as well as experimental energy blades called "Beam Sabers" that enables them to slice through pretty much anything solid in close quarters combat.

The inside of the Haven is set up with a high tech security system as well as a silent alarm system that alerts the members via their Communication devices. The security system is made up of gunmounted cameras, matter cutting energy beams, and reinforced steel doors that can defend against or trap intruders.The main computer room is the heart of the facility and it emits an ultra sonic sound frequency that disrupts any foriegn eletronics below the surface making sure that the Haven stays hidden from the upper world.

It was early morning and the sun was slowly rising up over the horizon near the desert beaming beautiful orange light upon the land and hitting the rooftops of the city,The city was nice and peaceful as people went about their daily routine and the everything seemed calm and at ease.

A man was on the top floor of the Avalon police force skyscraper silently watching the sun come up from his window while he took a small drag of his cigarette and blew out the grey smoke infront of his face,"Mr.Jack...Your needed in a meeting" A woman said over the intercom on his desk making him glance his eyes over while he put his cigarette down snuffing out the ashes."Sure thing Rose"He said to his secretary as he pressed the the button on his desk and sighing lightly for a moment as he grabbed his coat and went to exit his office.

A man stood on top of the roof of the Avalon police force. His crimson red eyes would gaze at it, his face adourned with an emotionless look. He was scouting out the activity it seemed. His right eye would change it's hue to golden yellow, as he caculated the height of the building times that of the one next to it. He would bend his knees, before closing his left eye, allowing the computerized voice in his head to go to work.'Strenght increased up to 25% . Exceeding the maximum is not possible within current state. " He would bend his knees, and push off with great force, and moving diagonally towards the next building.'Activating magnetizers' He would twist his body around into that of a front flip, 15ft away from the building yet his descent was currently dropping. His feet would be pressed against the side of the building, due to his force of impact he would slide down a bit, before finally comming to a halt.

He looked up, his black bangs blowing across his face in a passing breeze, before he would run up the side of the building, careful to run on the metals that revealed itself.

As the sun rose alice was sitting on the ledge of the outer city wall. She got down and walked towards the inner city. Watching busy people as they pass by. Nothing unsual except new citizens lost or causing slight annoyances. She continued to walk through the streets eying people that walked by to see if they were upto anything. It seems that lately, being A assassin for hire, left her with nothing to do but relax.Which she had a slight trouble with, being that she always had to be doing something, always needed a place to go or thing to do. She was restless. She longed for the adreniline rush of battle or combat.

Her eyes rose to the city's Police force skyscraper. "I wonder if Jack is working today... most likely. And it seems like the haven is still alittle bare if you ask me." She thought. Oh well...

Kaze walked around the streets as the sun rose up collecting materials for his own desires. He had a bunch of bags filled with different types of metal. He finally got to the last store and was purchasing the final materials as he noticed the tall police building. 'So busy today.' he thought as he grabbed the bags and walked out of the building.
