For some time now, there has been a nearing lack of supplies concerning food, medicine, clothing fabric, and other sources that involve our crops. The few plants that haven’t been affected by various diseases – that emerged from unknown reasons – are mainly unfit for Alloirane consumption, and consequently have gone to the herbivorous livestock available. This has resulted in a dependence on meat, and usage, along with attempts in breeding, of the few unaffected plants left. Of course, there are also other things to live off that besides such, but those materials are gone or going fast. This rapid decrease has been going on for some days, but so far stability is still mainly here. Specialized passes, similar to the food stamps that were at one time remotely commonplace, have replaced those exchangeable cards but nearly leaps and bounds. Day two: and even three went by normally, but soon enough supplies started to slightly run down, which has caused some unease or volatile exchanges. The cities and towns that house a good multitude of people each; besides the farms that once supplied goods; have around five million people each living in such areas at the very minimum. Normally, there would be enough to go around for everyone, while more than 90 million people live in the Ialloire nation, but the amount of canned goods available haven’t been enough to sustain such a large number over a median length of time – a large duration now being mostly unrealistic. In response to such issues over these three days, attempts have been made to fix them, but so far there has been little success – this from a lack of technology coherent to the problem. It would be nearly impossible to set gates in front of the downwards tilt, in addition. While genetically modifying crops may have helped in another situation, the causes of the development have turned out to be very difficult to prevent from spreading, and to be removed from the affected organisms.

Various viral and fungal pathogens have infected the crops of Alloir – and they have been targeting base genes of plants overall, as well as common features of the affected crops. As a result from processes being skewed: either rotting, promotion of protective traits, or deaths in general have been qualities of the non-human plague. These viruses and other infections do not appear to harm or affect the animals that break down or absorb the materials, and so there is no problem there. However, the lack of food supply has also sparked some intimidations or blockades concerning supplies. Some defensive mindsets have occurred, in the pretense of hoarding or preventing other people from owning what materials are left. If such continues, bigger disputes could occur, including all-out fighting. As a result: the government, along with affiliates or non-affiliates of governmental parties - are attempting to use the technology they have in order to settle such matters. The technology available is mainly the standard kinds, along with a number of non-standard kinds; some rumors have been going around that such technology includes machines that can open pathways to other worlds. In reality: creating doorways seems nearly impossible, in the general sense of technological advancement. Although we do have a good number of goals reached that have occurred over the last ninety years: such as nano-machine technology regulated goods and buildings – along with short-range spatial shortcuts; magnetic or electromagnetic transportation, and mobile AIs that are intentionally partially as intelligent as people, there is a relative blockade in advancing accordingly through dimensional matters.

The screen on the computer hovering some inches below eye level stopped there, but it is clear that the end sentence there is meant to vaguely imply something – which doesn’t need to be said, as it had been part of an update meant for this monitor in particular. Either as an official, splinter group member, high-ranking civilian in an underground, or having a position in another category, what has been going on is a general understanding to you. In light of such, even if the information was not a reason to act due to already gained knowledge, you are likely going to act in some way. This includes doing little or nothing related to the disputes going on, as it is likely that you may be pulled into an issue at some time or place. After all, the time yet to come is dependent on what is done now. In the numerous cities that mark major points of Alloir, things are happening that involve a few to many individuals, and it can't entirely be said that one person might not be able to promote change, good or bad.

As well, don't hate on roleplayers, or people passing through - this also relates to characters as well. A character can't be angry at, or against another character without a valid reason. If you want that to happen, when it involves another person's character, you probably should get permission from them first, if you can.

The forum probably doesn't allow graphic topics, so if you need or want to do a scenario that involves graphic things, moving it to PMs would likely be best. On this topic, as well - posting links to graphic material or media is not allowed here. It would likely also go against the site's rules, and might bother people, or people participating in this roleplay. This site is PG 13. Romance is fine, but don't go too far.

Limit swearing.

That's about it - the site might not allow certain words to be posted, as it has a filter. Although, some words might not be registered as 'bad', so it would be up to you to censor words that are somewhat further down the line of severity. I don't want this thread to get reported for language, as well.

⅖ No godmodding or metagaming. Some auto-hitting and auto-dodging is allowed, though..

This is also going to be sort of short. Meta-gaming is having a character know information, without a plausible reason; they shouldn't know things that go out of the fourth wall. Auto-hitting is permitted somewhat; this depending on the violence level for some part; and autododging is allowed to an extent. As well, be reasonable about time and distance of a possible hit - it would be very difficult to avoid something that is an inch away from a character, unless they had super speed, or a way to react quickly sometimes - or occasionally - as well.

Don't way overdo the violence - graphic things are not good for the roleplay. There can be some gore, or even a greater amount than that, but nothing very over the top. If things get violent, make sure to give the thought of near-death or serious injury some background decisions, so there might not be just a one-way-out scenario.

This allows possible diversity for characters. While real-life pictures be present in this roleplay at this point or at another time - existing people are not in them as real-life persons aren't allowed in this roleplay.

3-Character Limit

⅘ Don't let your characters do the impossible.

Your character can't do a million things at once, or even four things at once. Avoiding such allows other players the opportunity to react in a logical way, and it helps keep the roleplay time stable. Time skips can happen, but they need to happen logically. On a related note, make sure your character acts normally as well - don't have them go through a day without doing the essentials - while you are allowed to skip over minor things, that should be there only to bypass graphic detail. This doesn't mean that you have to say that they did something, but allowing for intermediary fact or short time skips may help with realism.

This roleplay has a setting that slightly coexists with another roleplay I have which is currently up. That being most events will likely not happen in cohesion with the timeline of the other roleplay.

There may be a point where it is - but that could be either a minor or major co-detail.

Ala(y)d. = the ‘Ad’ is typically a question prefix/suffix, in short nominative [subject of verb] sentences. Otherwise, it designates a direct object of a transitive verb. It can mean ‘How is that (done)?’ or ‘How are you (doing)?’/’How’s life going?’ – if [At]ala(y)d is added to the front.

Lonoso is 3 months; Lonosol is one month. Lonosole is two months; Lonosoe(h) is four months; Lonosoi[h]l is seven months; Lonosoi[h] is eight months. Lonosore is nine months, Lonosoe[h]ne[h] is ten months, and Lonoresol is eleven months.

– Rom – This is used to designate land formations, of the plateau kind. It is also the base suffix root for ‘Tuesday’ and ‘Wednesday’. ’ Solromnohv’ designates Tuesday – and ‘Solromorh’ designates Wednesday. Solromin is Monday; Solca[h]ir is Thursday; Solca(h)ros is Friday. Some have roots attributed to land features; others attributed to ‘life’; and others: music or the general concept of celestial bodies.

- Rot – Things that are perishable, such as money or food, have adjectives in this word. It can also describe things that are no longer good; and is one
of the couple words that have a similar or the same meaning in English.

– Qu (Ku) – This prefix designates low-quantity objects or adjectives; the adjectives being modified by ‘Qu’.

Major:
Nox issued a execution assault against Jarack; this ultimately failed. He and the people that remained of his party went underground.
A massacre of a political group occurred: this removed another amount of resistance against Jarack's ideals and plans.

Minor:

Jarack obtained more power through documents, clauses, and newly instated mandates.

Nohvi and Erza completed a look over of supplies at a drug transport checkpoint; they were afterwards chased by police. They then planned to collect money from a party that borrowed an amount - but Erza went away on another point of business.

Cairin made a deal with Jarack, as a business partner.

Qaala gunned down a populated burger establishment;

Euphemia murdered her mother and a man that decided to fight against her from that first murder. She switched ideals, partly, and decided to be a part of Jarack's plan.

Having the time, as there was enough to do what she wanted as well as collect the money, Nohvi went over to Jarack's mansion. The area was surprisingly but logically unguarded since his forces were elsewhere, and he has a high enough consideration of himself to know that being defended likely wouldn't have mattered. A fight between both of them ensued, and Nohvi switched sides from the logic that was stated at her.

Sorheah: The Alloir version of the turkey; has less feathering around the tail, more feathering around the legs; in species example; to avoid more damage from low-lying animals such as reptiles. They are also are a bit smaller in body than the Earth version - but can have slightly more potent meat due to their marginally smaller size.

Fuyoqu: These are fish: and look like certain pond fish, or more specifically small sunfish, but with an overall grey and blue strip pattern on the area near their mid-sides to their tail fins. They are slightly ovaline; partly being shaped like the freshwater sunfish as well - but instead having about two centimeters less in height and slightly longer lengths.The green sunfish and red-ear sunfish are good comparisons of two of the most commonly shaped look-alikes, in relation to Fuyoqu.

Orson: These are the Alloir equivalent of cows. They are of slightly or a bit less in size, compared to Earth cows, and have slightly smaller reticulum and rumen 'stomachs', but similar sized omasum and abomasum. Their coats range in color from dark to lighter brown to white, or having patterns consisting of colors within that range.
