	So, i was thinking, that all of these ideas are really super. but i was thinking something too. how about a "gaia commercial" contest, where gaians create a commercial to be viewed on the front page for visiting, they can watch to see what gaia is all about =D..

	Well, I know the battle system isn't out yet, but when it does, it'd be awesome to hold huge battle tournaments. And the prize could be gold, or a super rare weapon item or something. And racing tournaments ofocurse!! And the prize could be a rare car or accesory.

	"Awiergan" Alot of users would like old MC's, though many users who have these items would be offended by their re-release. Yeah, the old users wouldn't like it, but those items (Like the angelic halo) are quickly becoming so rare that they don't even exist anymore. I think if people were to win these as prizes, it would not make a huge difference in the economy, since only a few can win. In fact, it may help curb the inflation if such items were once again given. Otherwise, I agree with your post wholeheartedly.

	A) What kind of contests and competitions should we run? - Should we do more art contests? Writing contests? Singing contests? Belching contests? A rodeo? Contests where you win stuff without having to do ANYTHING AT ALL!? What!?: um maybe a art contest and a Writing contest.

	redface Well, I am a bit shy, but I like the idea of a writing contest. I still consider myself quite new to Gaia, but I like it! Writing I can do. Can it be previously published? Submitting art work - not quite sure about how to do that, and not too sure about my artistic abilities. (Hey, I dropped out of a Calligraphy Class, and got an A! - I think it was because I realized my own limitations. wink ) I like photography too, but again, not sure how exactly to get it so I can submit it. I am also totally clueless as to how to submit a movie for the Gaia Movie theater. So...that kind of leaves me out. crying My family likes my singing - and some have even asked me to make them a CD or something. However, I'm not sure the rest of the world is ready for me. sweatdrop As for prizes, personally - being as new as I am, and hopefully sharing some of the views of others who are new, some old monthly collectibles would be awesome! As would Gaia Gear - do I have that right? I'm not too sure about event tickets, since the event would have to be fairly close to my home... and then finding an event that I'd want to attend, would be another matter since peoples tastes for music, concerts, movies, and even restaurants can vary by so very much. Just some thoughts and feedback.

Size is not a true measure of character.

	I think a good idea for a contest is that a person could win item for their avi's based on anime characters like from Naruto, Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Blood+, Chobits, DearS, or even Trigun. I know I speak for a few anime fans on here when I say that I would really like there to be more anime based items on this site. Like Inuyashas sword or Edward's automail arm Now that would be really cool

Do not fear the OTAKU, do to the OTAKU what you would to a chibi, give it a great big hug, hold it at arms length and think to your self "what the heck is this strange creature".

	IDEA FOR CURRENT CONTESTS ok ok everyone knows people make newb accounts and down votes in the avatar arenas so there should be a 1week rule must be atleast1 week old to vote because its not fair to people who work hard on there avatars also IDEA FOR CONTESTS we need a poetry contest prize you say? hmm 1st-50k 2nd-20k 3rd-10k or 1st-SUPER RARE ITEM 2nd-RARE ITEM 3rd-COMMON ITEM

	Type of Contests You can do alot with art contests but I fear that people would whine about it. Plagarism is likely when it comes to writing contests. I don't want to be in the judges' shoes in American Idol when it comes to singing. Suggestion: -Fan Art - Art for featured NPC or MC -Story/Plot - Like what we had with Zurg vs. Santa -Medium - Create Gaia related items/character through clay, cardboard, balloon, etc. Type of Prizes Prizes, I don't like inflation so it would be nice that we don't get gold for prizes. I don't like getting a one time virtual item that can only be obtained in the contests. It'll just cause elitism. Suggestion: -MC - Depending on the difficulty of the contest, the rarer the MC prizes. -GStore - Items from the GStore wouldn't be bad. -Q00P - The winning Art Picture on the customizable Mousepad would be cool. Other Please make it so that we have to pay a fee to enter the contest like the arenas. It'll be a good goldsink and keeps bad submissions out.
