 Thinking someplace in the Seattle Center near the space needle or the EMP Or something. Anyone in the area got some other ideas as well? Since they came up with this i've been wanting to do something with the Space Needle. I was thinking of 2nd week in June to get together there with some other people and do this. Any input would be welcomed ^_____^ |

 Aha! Well I live in Gig Harbor... about 40 min. to an hour from Gig Harbor, but I've been plotting the Mischief Makers with my friends for Seattle. Actually our first plan had to do with something with Jimmy Hendrix's grave or Bruce Lee's memorial, but I'd probably be murdered for that. sweatdrop I though it'd be cool if we did something to the very first Starbucks; if Gaia wants to take over pop culture why not team up with something that's already taking over the world? (When they land a Starbucks in Scotland and Ireland, then one must wonder...) I have a Gaia poster from Sakura Con we could use to put up somewhere... I dunno. I was also thinking of using the gum wall in Pike's Marketplace. Gross, but imagine getting lots of gum of the same color, and spelling out "GAIA ONLINE" in big letters and we just stick it on the wall. We'd get points for creativity! And gum is cheap, plus I know plenty of volunteers who could contribute to that. I forgot what the plan was for the EMP... there's a room there where you are recorded while playing/pretending to be in a band. Outside, people are watching whatever you're doing, so my friends and I were thinking we "modify" the equipment with Gaia logos and what not, wear T-shirts that say "Gaia Online" and play, then have someone carry a huge banner saying "GO TO GAIA ONLINE"... it'd be at the EMP, on a day where there are a lot of people so there would be people watching from the outside. XD; |

I LOVE THE GUM IDEA!!! That would be sooo awesome!! Or we could make signs that say Gaiaonline and have people hold them up in the windows of the monorail and have the person with the recorder or camera waiting where it stops to take the pic and stuff! i was thinking we could make a banner and we could walk around with it and hold it up by the space needle or the big water ball. and we can write in colorful chalk all over the water ball place ^___^ I don't have a good recorder though so if we find more people to do this then i hope one of them has a good camera. |

Ooohhh... I like that for the monorail... or we could make giant letters that spell Gaia and easily put them on the windows. Dunno if people could actually see them considering it goes pretty fast (assuming it doesn't break down halfway like it has done for me XD). I rather not do anything with chalk since... well, it's kinda cliche if you know what I mean. But it'd be cool to do something around the entrance, maybe near the water fountain too. I have a camcorder and a video camera, as do many of my other friends so there's no worries for cameras. I like the gum idea too, I'd just have to figure out how exactly to do it. I've seen people write their names on the gum wall in... well... gum, and they can't accuse us of vandalism because it's a city attraction and it's officially considered artwork (on that specific side of the building. XD) Have you ever taken the ferry to Seattle from Bremerton? If you go to the back of the ship you can go outside and if we're really careful, we can hold up a banner and let it flow in the wind like a flag. XD; It'd be funny too, because you'd end up in Seattle anyways and can continue carrying the banner. I might try doing that on a friend's sail boat... assuming we get any wind down the harbor. -.- |

 Yeah... I have two friends r/l who are Gaians and would be willing to come, assuming we can somehow get transportation -hollow laugh- and there are other Gaians around my town I can round up... Darn it people! I know there are a lot of Gaians in the Seattle area considering how abnormally long the line was at Sakura Con for the Gaia Online Conference (I know people from Canada and Oregon come, but that was A LOT of people.) so come here and post, now. XP |

Uh... I highly doubt we'd need a taser much less use one since we'd get in trouble because 1) It's not legal in Washington to have a taser and 2) whatever we were using the taser for, it'd be for shocking people. This is mischief makers, that doesn't mean we have a right to hurt people for the sake of a site, and I'm pretty sure Gaia Online would frown at us for that.  And dude, when she meant "EMP" she was talking about the Experience Music Project in Seattle, a museum dedicated the the history of music. Not electromagnetic pulse. We're planning to cause simple and honest mischief in Seattle, not electrify people. << |

Something I had wanted to do when I first heard about the mischif, I wanted to take a huge banner to the observation deck of the space needle, and wrap it around, basically blocking the view.

That would be awesome but how would we do it? *Snuggles Lu* I dont know how we could get them to let us...And we would have to like do it so we can read it inside or have it thin enough to take a pic and we can see the words from the inside(Though they will be backwards) Or get into another building where we could take a pic with a GOOD camera.... |
