Make fillers involving the Akatsuki or something. I'm sure a countless number of people have suggested it, and it'd probably be a lot more interesting considering it's something different from the norm.

Things like the Shippuden 129 omake with the festival... all of those dead characters wandering around, and Hayate's ghost... XD

Or even the sports festival from the original series, with people we know scattered everywhere in the crowds.

Why don't they do episodes like that, if they're going to make fillers? I always loved playing eye spy with the characters... gonk

Kind of irreverent now. They have so much potential to do all sorts of stuff with filler that can expand on characters, villages and story-line but they often waste it on something ridiculous.

And fillers involving Naruto fighting talking animals and being stuck to Sasuke by the arms are so much better...

Akatsuki fillers would be much much better. They could show missions that they had gone on, or shown how their life was like before joining.

However, as Kishimoto is still raging about his small pen0r, a good plot isn't in the blueprints.

no they couldn't, every single member of the Akutsuke had a big secret which would of revealed itself had you made fillers out of them. for example Itachi being a good guy was a shock twist, how could you make a filler about itachi, be true to the character and not give anything away. and for the record i don't think his p***s size really matters when he probably still gets more action then you do.

It's not very hard to create fillers for the Akatsuki members.

Itachi/Kisame - Takes place during the 2 years of training before Shippuden. Kisame kills a man and his younger brother watches and in anger, attacks Kisame. He loses, and then vows to kill Kisame one day. Kisame replies that he'd be wasting his time and living his life for revenge wouldn't do anything against a shinobi like him. The man ignores him and flees. Kisame confides with Itachi that the feeling of someone wanting to kill you with all their might is truly amazing, and that he knows what Itachi is going through. Itachi tells him that until the man returns to claim Kisame's life, he will never know. So a few months later the man appears before Kisame and tries to kill him, failing. Before Kisame can kill him, Itachi stops him, stating he's proven his point. Itachi calms the man by telling him that those who are completely overrun with revenge will lose themselves, and he and Kisame leave. Kisame asks Itachi why he didn't let him kill the man, and Itachi states there was no point, he's suffered enough.

Boom.
