I get that Naruto and Sakura are close and have canon backing and crap but I've never really been able to ship it. Simply because Sakura isn't the most important person in the world to Naruto.
Sasuke is.
Sasuke and Naruto just have a much more complex, interesting, confusing relationship, and I love it. They are bound by fate and destiny, Naruto and Sakura are bound by the past.

I just can't see Naruto and Sasuke as a sexual thing. Nor can I ever imagine it as a HEALTHY relationship. There's too many shadows.

Naruto and Sakura are each others light.

..Anyone with Sasuke has a unhealthy relationship no matter what.

I wouldn't say that. Sasuke is... troubled, true. But everyone in the Naruto world is. Naruto HIMSELF is. Gaara is. Neji is. Lee is. Itachi is. Even some girls are. Just as someone is capable of loving, even living with/marrying, Naruto or Gaara or Neji or Lee or even Itachi.. so too can someone love or even engage in an intimate relationship with Sasuke. But, right now, Sasuke is still too young to really worry about such a relationship.

Sasuke isn't actually annoying or impossible or whatever you want to say... What Sasuke is... is ambitious. He's got a goal at all times. From one thing to the next... Sasuke is DEVOTED. How is that wrong or troubling? It isn't. It's admirable.

He NEEDS a specific type of person, not just anyone. Honestly, I can't see Sasuke with anyone that's shown-up thus far...

It's not just that Sasuke is troubled.
He's self destructive. He's thrown away anything that meant anything to him and every step he takes only hurts him more.
Unless he gets some seriously medication and some counseling I dont see how he'll ever be emotionally stable enough to be in a healthy functional relationship

No meaningful relationship is ever an easy one. Anything worthwhile is an effort. I wouldn't say that Sasuke's thrown everything that ever meant anything to him... He, for years, sought to ruin Itachi... not without reason. Revenge is an answer--Sasuke's answer to otherwise confusion or emptiness. He replaces sorrow... with... resentment... twice concerning Itachi, once against Itachi, once to avenge Itachi, whom Sasuke truly loves. He didn't forget the Uchiha clan. He didn't forget Itachi. He didn't forget even Naruto or Sakura--both of whom Sasuke indeed cares about. All Sasuke is... is ambitious. He also is eager for something, anything, an answer, a reason to exist at all.

On the issue of romance, I'd say that so far Sasuke just hasn't been interested... But I do see it as plausible that Sasuke will, or could, at some time truly abide with a special someone in romance as well as in friendship... peacefully.

However, before that can happen, Sasuke will need to sort out personal issue... He will need to once again be at a standstill, left with nothing and no one. Seemingly, only then can Sasuke ever accept "in" anything new.

Basically yes, I agree. Any positive that right now can come from their... relationship... would be lost as soon as they slipped into a romance. Friendship is really as far as those two should ever go.

Actually, I'm hoping to hear from Tsunade,since she's still the most kickass kunoichi in the five ninja nations in my eyes. ^_^;;

I really want Tsunade to talk to Naruto about her feelings for Jiraiya. They were rather implied, and the parallels between the Sannin and Team 7 are ridiculously obvious. It would be so sweet.

I'm willing to wait a few chapters for that though. I want Sakura to get back in the game and either have Hinata's death confirmed, or have Hinata realize that Sakura loves NAruto, accept it and make some little comment to Sakura that confuses her and makes her examine her own feelings for Naruto.

Oh god, I would murder babies just to see Jiraiya one more time in a flashback, or, dare I say, hear Tsunade's belated confession.
