I'm anti-NaruHina. However, if Kishimoto pairs them together BUT ALSO pairs Sakura with Sasuke... I'd be satisfied. Otherwise... no, not at all, I'd throw a minor tantrum in the comfort of my room.

I'm not so sure about pairing her with Sasuke but I'd like to see Sakura paired with someone.

So would I even if that someone is Lee. I've got nothing against Lee. He's cool. But I'm not much a fan of Lee/Sakura "together". My thing with SasuSaku is that, at least for a while, they really were close... more so with each other, I'd say, even than with Naruto. She was the only person Sasuke ever gave an explanation to. In numerous instances throughout the manga, prior to leaving, Sasuke showed concern for Sakura. And she did him. What she didn't do was truly open-up to him, which she (rather ironically I might note since it was Sasuke that she crushed-on) since then has Naruto.

Something that can be said about even the possibility of them "hooking up" is that it wouldn't be easy. His leaving scarred Sakura. She's not stupid. She wouldn't go rushing right back into anything. And, personally, I don't expect Sasuke to know at all where to begin with so little as a conversation much less a real relationship.

As long as Sakura has someone in the manga permenatly, then I'll be happy with it. Anything to have at least 1 permanent couple in naruto... (Imagines the shitstorm that will hit the A/M/C if NaruHina happens)

i realize something, i think of something and please read this...:

i always wonder if Masashi Kishimoto sees our fans arts, threads, opinions (etc)
if he do maybe he will make naruxhina together because u know.... they have more photos than naru and saku. i dont like naruhina together it will not be a good couple for many things but what will happen if masashi do that or see the photos? he will say like '' wow there are more fans of naruxhina so i think i will put naruto with her'' ......
i dont really know of what he do but i hope naruto and sakura ends up together

Well, I wouldn't say that they are really close...

Sasuke only protected Sakura because he has too. He sees her, as a weak person who hasn't really developed any strength yet. Now, I'm not say he doesn't care for her, because he obviously does. But that doesn't say he loves her. Just because he said thank you.

I know that he showed a lot of concerned for her in forest of death, I for on am skeptical and have numerous responses for why he cared. But I don't want to get into that. But remember, he also showed concern for Naruto. It's not just Sakura that he cares for. For example: when Sasuke told Sakura not to tell Naruto about his curse seal, why? Because he obviously does not want him to worry, he cares for Naruto also Sakura.

I really dont think that's a problem. If it influences him at all, it will only be to the extent of a little more fan service and nothing more.
I doubt he pays much attention to AMERICAN fans especially. NaruHina isn't that popular at all in Japan

It isn't? Hmm. According to one thing I've read, couples in Japan consist of woman slapping/etcetera man... Hinata sure isn't slapping Naruto... Maybe that is why, at least in part, NaruHina isn't popular in Japan; they aren't already couple-ish.

From even an objective standpoint, my guess is that unless Naruto dies NaruSaku will eventually prove true. Why put so much time into two individuals together if your intention is never to "couple" them?

The last part of your post is not objective. There are a lot of reasons to develope the relationship between two characters that does not include them ending up together.
