First interaction between Sasuke and Sakura:
I guess we can say Sasuke is blushing here right?! ;D:
Aww, Sasuke knows that Sakura was the one who screamed:
Haha, this is cute. Sasuke waited until Sakura regained consciousness.:
Sasuke is actually opening up and telling Sakura his thoughts.:
Sasuke jumps in front of Sakura!:
Sasuke called Kakashi a show off! That means he wanted to be the one to show off in front of Sakura wink !:
Some people consider this a moment. Sasuke blushing and asking about what Sakura told Naruto.:
Sasuke hears Sakura scream and is automatically concerned about what to do.:
Sakura crying for Sasuke- thinking that he was dead.:
Sasuke is able to tell that something’s wrong with Sakura.:
Sasuke cheers Sakura up biggrin .:
Sasuke stabs himself in order to mobilize his body and to save Sakura.:
Sakura motivates Sasuke to take action.:
As Sasuke begins to fall unconscious, he leans towards Sakura for support.:
Sakura’s team members are down. Sakura hugs the unconscious Sasuke as she contemplates on what to do.:
Sasuke wakes up and automatically asks Sakura who hurt her.:
Sasuke, controlled by the curse seal, is going on a rampage. Sakura runs and hugs him from behind to stop him from hurting others. The curse seal recedes and Sasuke is himself again.:
Sasuke and Ino can tell that Sakura is lying.:
The curse seal is hurting Sasuke. Sakura wants him to drop out of the exam because of the pain he has to endure. Sasuke refuses.:
As the curse seal starts to activate, Sasuke recalls Sakura and Naruto’s words. The curse seal begins to recede because he doesn’t want to worry his teammates.:
Sakura is worried about Sasuke’s curse seal. She is relieved when Kakashi tells her that Sasuke is fine. She is also happy that Sasuke was able to make it before he gets disqualified.:
Sakura steps in front of Sasuke as his human shield to protect Sasuke from Gaara’s wrath!:
Sasuke tells Naruto that he better save Sakura, and when he does, run away with her. Then Sasuke says that he never wants to lose someone important to him again (referring to Sakura since she’s the one pinned to the tree and being suffocated).:
Sasuke catches Sakura, bridal-style, as the sand releases her. Then Sasuke tells Pakkun to take care of Sakura.:
According to Tsunade, it seems like Sakura visits Sasuke everyday in the hospital.:
As Sasuke wakes up, Sakura hugs him, relieved that Sasuke is okay. (Aww, look at Sasuke’s face. Such a tender look towards Sakura)!:
Sasuke reflects back to when Sakura thanked him for saving her, but the one who saved her was Naruto.
Is that a jealous expression on his face? =P:
Here, we see that Sakura is worried about Sasuke. She’s reflecting back to the time Sasuke’s curse seal was activated and relates her thoughts to Orochimaru.:
As Naruto and Sasuke prepare to attack one another, Sakura runs in between their attacks. Both of them are fearful that their attacks will hurt her. :
The mention of “precious companions,” Sasuke thinks of both Naruto AND Sakura.:
Now for a famous SasuSaku scene! In the end of part 1, Sasuke’s heart has chosen the path of revenge. He is desperate for power and he is willing to go to Orochimaru for power. However, before he leaves the village, the one who shows up is Sakura. Sakura’s fears have come true. Sasuke is indeed going to seek Orochimaru for power. If Sasuke were to leave, then Sakura says that she’ll feel the same solitude that Sasuke has endured. In her desperate attempt to keep Sasuke in the village, Sakura confesses her love to him, telling him that she would do anything for him. Sasuke’s heart still chooses revenge despite what Sakura has told him. Sakura threatens that she’ll scream if he leaves. Sasuke quickly disappears and ends up behind her. With a word of thanks, Sasuke knocks tear-ridden Sakura unconscious and leaves:
His thank you is ambiguous, but it is sweet of Sasuke to thank Sakura. It could be thank you for loving me, thank you for everything you’ve done for me, thank you for caring about me, thank you for being a good friend, or all the above!
Shikamaru says “EVEN YOU couldn’t convince Sasuke, right?” Shikamaru is intelligent, even he can tell that Sasuke and Sakura are important to each other.
Sakura, distraught that she couldn’t convince Sasuke, begs Naruto to bring Sasuke home, believing that Naruto is the only one who can save him.:
After seeing how hard Naruto tried to bring Sasuke home, even if it means risking his life, Sakura realizes that she needs to start being industrious as well. She doesn’t want to feel futile anymore. She tells Naruto next time they’ll both bring Sasuke home together. Her teammates is the reason why she wants to improve, why she wants to be stronger, why she wants to be useful, and why she wants to compensate for what she couldn't do. Inspired by what Naruto has done, she takes her first real step to real development by asking to train under Tsunade, the hokage. Her need to save and protect Sasuke and Naruto contributes to her development, and Tsunade sees it as a valuable aspect to her growth in the future!:
