Lambdadelta is one of the witches from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, otherwise known as the Witch of Certainty. Her actual powers have nothing to do with paper, but she once compared herself, Bernkastel (her rival), and Beatrice (the "main" witch) to paper, scissors, and rock (respectively). She then said that she would have to become super paper to defeat Bernkastel.

I think the intention of Itachi being mentioned to have a lover in the manga was to bring out just how important Sasuke had been to Itachi-- emphasize that Itachi had went as cold and far as being able to kill his lover, and yet he still couldn't bring himself to kill his baby brother.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just someone completely ordinary to get the message across.

(Or who knows, maybe someone like Shisui or something, who was very important to Itachi.)
