[ I watched this part with my roommate the other day and we spent the better part of the afternoon screaming, "WHY AREN'T YOU DEAD YET?"

...But that's just because we both knew he was gonna come back. Jokes aside, Gaara is one of the few instances in which a tragic character with a lot of power isn't incredibly irritating.


I think it would've had a bigger impact on Naruto's character if Gaara hadn't made it; so story-wise I think he should've stayed dead. ]
