So I am curious to know something. For those who have hit 50,000 words what was your first word in you novel and you 50,000th word in you novel.

My first word: It

I haven't written 50K words yet, but I'm almost there.

Managed to hit 50K, but alas some of my characters ran rampant and deviated from the plot, forcing me to expand it with some subplots. stare So, finished Nano, story, not finished.

50K word: ********. (My female MC cusses a lot, in contrast to the very shy male MC)

Very uncreative.... Actually what I did, is I made my MC do nanowrimo along with me as I did it, so I'd be able to complain and she it was actually him complaining. Except he's about 300 years in the future. So completely nanowrimo for him was a matter of history, and basically life and death.

50k Word: Seriously

These sound like the beginnings of a sarcastic sentence. "Just, seriously, get on with it!"

I did have some character/plot planning mingled in there, though, so technically the first word on my document is "Midbury," the town where my MC lives.
