I didn't see one, so here it is.

Happy NaNoWriMo, everyone!
This thread exists to celebrate Dr Wicked's writing tool, Write or Die.
It's been a great help to me this year!

Things to do in this thread:
-discuss Write or Die (love it? hate it? reason why?)
-organize word wars with your fellow Wrimos, using Write or Die
-general NaNo-related chat
-tell me how Electric Shock mode works? (I'm too afraid to use it without knowing what it does. xD)

I tried Electric Shock mode once... it did nothing. xD Not that I'm aware of, anyway...

I adore it. Gets my a** to writing 1k words in 10 minutes. Saves my wordcount every year.

I bought the desktop version a month in advance just to make sure it would work properly and it has gotten me to do awesome. My stats? Oh thank you for asking, allow me to post them.

I love Write or Die, but I'm not using it this year. I like writing at my own pace. By all rights, I should be using it because my word count is awful right now, but I don't want to stress myself out. Besides, when I feel the need to write, I write, so I kind of make up for it.
