NaNoWordSprint & NaNoWordWar
As a regular of our big
NaNoWriMo thread, I figured that since there aren't many wars all the time, I'd make an official word war and word sprint thread.
So, what are word wars and word sprints?
Essentially, the terms are used interchangeably.
Generally you:
Write as much as you can in a set amount of time with anyone else who joins in.
Setting one up is easy; it follows the format of :[minutes of the hour] for [time]
So it would look like this if you want to war at 2:00 your time for fifteen minutes.
"Does anyone want to war at :00 for 15?"
OR you can even change things up and say, "Anyone up for 15 at the :00?"
BUT
If you want to set a goal word count, you can set it up like this:
"War @ :00 for 15 min. 200+ words"
You can even go longer than that. (30 min +), but I would do that for a word
sprint, where you write like your life depends on it. Think,
if I don't write x amount of words in the next 30 (or more) minutes, I will die. razz
