I know I'm starting just a little late this year, but it took me a while to come up with what I wanted to write, and for once I want to do something with just small touches of fantasy. My story takes place in a school for magical beings, who are candidates to become deities but before that they must go through four years of training with the majority of their powers restricted and sealed off. So in essence is going to be a ordinary kind of school life novel, with splashes of magic here and there. I kind of nervous because well I love to write novels heavily in the reals of science fantasy or just fantasy. But I wanted to challenge myself and do something different, so I guess this is a half-step in my goal of breaking out of my norms.
Any suggestions, so far my story opens with to of the main characters hot boxing in a bronco.
