To be honest, I was just curious. I just wanted to see what the numbers looked like.

This is my second attempt at NaNoWriMo. Except this year I am trying to balance what is supposed to be a semester of college. Fun times... not really. I actually have a hard time focusing, but when I bring my bouncy mind into the story it actually makes it a bit easier.

I'm glad! This is my first year too and I've found it a stimulating and exciting enterprise. I'm hoping to hit 60k by the end of November but not holding my breath

What's your novel about if you don't mind my asking?

Mine is fantasy because the writer can make the rules. *winks*

It's about a girl who is a powerful magician but very few people know. Magicians fight off ghouls, creatures that devour living things but they prefer human flesh (don't worry if that makes anyone squeamish. my friend who doesn't even like csi because of the dead bodies is ok with it). However, there's another force in the background that she's about to discover and it's not on humanity's side.

What's yours about?

PS i think my pace is a tad fast but my beta reader says it's fine.
