So I made this thread at the official NaNo site, but I thought I'd make it here too.

Got a favorite snippet from your daily writing? Want to share it so others can laugh, cry, or just enjoy it with you? And since this is day for go ahead and post your back log of favorites too!

I'm posting my back log, since I haven't actually done my day 4 writing yet, it's still early.

Day One:
Didn't actually have one, because I was still just getting into the swing of things

Day Two:

A woman came from a hallway Cassie hadn’t noticed in her first glance. The blond wasn’t really looking at them yet. Her eyes were closed and her hands were occupied as she attempted to tie back her long shimmering locks. “You’re back rather early. I would have thought you’d be gone all day. Did you miss me that much?” A smirk crossed her face before she opened her eyes, a hand moving from her hair to her hip. When she finally saw what was going on she blinked wildly. “Walker! How many times have I told you there are better ways to carry a person than that?!”

I haven't kept track of days but this is my favorite from yesterday.

Not too fond of things I wrote today, but there's this:

Looking through several, he finally found it, behind some white plates. He grabbed it hurriedly, while Cheryl popped the dish into the oven.

The second thing I noticed was the Mexican woman talking to a plate. She held it in front of her face and appeared to be whispering sweet nothings to it in Spanish. At one point, she looked offended and slapped it, only to smile again and return to her sweet nothings.

And no, my novel isn't set in an asylum. xd
