Ah, good, we're talking about other things. I have nothing to contribute, but it means I can delurk. xd

I don't watch violent and action movies, so I'll just reply with something else. I just saw this story on TORN about casting a female role for The Hobbit and couldn't stop laughing- I've been saying all along there were female dwarves in the party because my views on dwarves are heavily influenced by Terry Pratchett and Discworld (females are indistinguishable from males- both have beards and they're all "he" ). I'd just love to see a dwarf in The Hobbit that looks like Cheery. whee

I'm with ya on that, Niere. xd But ooo, Austen character talk! Is it weird that I don't particularly fancy any of her characters? I guess Knightly is pretty cool, and I think Mr Bennet is an awesome character, but I don't fancy any of them.

Yeah, some guys can, Nimmy. Like my cousin- he can pull off pink and polo shirts without looking like he's gay, an idiot, or a jerk. That's a rare skill! Now if I put my fiancé in pink, he'd just look absolutely silly like his red shirt leaked on the whites in his wash. xd

I agree with Nimmy- it's a unisex hat, not anything girly. If it were pink, then you'd have a problem.

I'm trying to remember words I used to say wrong... I thought "chasm" was pronounced with the ch rather than the k sound, but I can't remember the other things I said differently. Well, I know I have a tendency of pronouncing fantasy names wrong if that counts.

Oh, neat! I know there are some good art schools around here, but I never looked into them since that wasn't my major. I went to college in the middle of the state instead, at a college everyone assumes I went to because it has a good football team and it's apparently a "party school". Ha, yeah right, like I cared about either. rolleyes

Loth- LOL! That's like how my fiancé was a really brilliant kid and learned to read a lot of words before he ever heard them. He thought Egypt was pronounced "Egg-pent". xd

I'd say I have no accent, but I guess everyone has an accent to everyone else. I'm from outside Philly so the only strange thing I say is "wooder" instead of "water"- I say "strange" because it's odd to my fiancé who grew up only 40 minutes away from me.

I think I have a bunch of Fox Trot comics in my LotR scrapbooks. 3nodding Which reminds me- I need to be on the lookout for stuff on The Hobbit so I can add that to the second half of my RotK one (I had FotR and TTT in one and I think RotK is the other). Me, dorky? xd Unfortunately all the random magazines and things like that had to be tossed when I moved, but at least the bulk of things were nicely in the scrapbooks- I just hope none of the pages got eaten by bugs or something since they're stored under one of my dressers (have I mentioned I have no storage space?).

Okay, have you guys played the LotR game on Facebook yet? I picked Frodo to start since he was the only hobbit option, then soon after saw that I could get a Rohan quest. Of course I jumped on that (because duh, I love Rohan), but instead of the game switching me to Merry like I assumed it would, I'm still Frodo but have Merry as my travelling companion. Yet I still appear to be the Ringbearer- there's a ring showing up in my inventory. I can't even give it to Sam since he appears to be a travelling companion, too. So great- we'll save Rohan but ignore the ring; sounds brilliant. xd
