Reptile Awareness Day! Wait, no, I mean HALLOWEEN!

Join us from October 23rd to 31st for a monstrous free-for-all, a new storyline update, some incredible new items for your avatar, and quite possibly a big surprise at the end.

Today we shine our bright light at the Celebration Collective, a mini-shop dedicated to fulfilling all your celebratory needs, including birthdays, weddings, graduations, not getting run over by a bus, anniversaries, eating a really good hamburger, and more.

Take a spirited gallop over to their mini-shop to learn more, see some of their art, meet the team, and perhaps place an order! Heck, if you've got some artistic talent of your own, you might even want to see about joining and spreading the cheer.

We regret to inform you that we had to temporarily cut out some older poses from Inari's Beads. There were simply way too many poses for our system to handle without exploding and sending countless pixels flying in your face. We're working on upgrading it, so all the poses will definitely return. Sorry for any fashion inconveniences this might cause.

Hey, everyone -- thanks for your patience.

The site is now back up and running, all sparkly new, and your inventories have been restored to their previous state. We don't believe that you will run into any problems, but if you notice a glitch or something, please go to this thread to report it. We'll let you know when the EI reports are coming (at this point it will be early next week), but rest assured that your new fish have not aged any during the site downtime. ~pan

Updated 8:39pm: Database is restored, consistency checks are good, and we're getting ready to turn everything back on. ~pan

Argh! One of our databases is being very naughty right now, and we're going to have to shut down a bunch of stuff in order to slap it around a little. For the next couple of hours, the following things won't work:

• Inventory/Avatar equip panels
  
• The Marketplace
  
• Trades
  
• Gifts
  
• Shops
  
• Gold granting
  
• Games
  
• New Member Registration

You have not lost any of your Gold, Cash, items or anything else! You still have all your stuff, we're just dealing with an extremely annoying database outage. We'll put out another announcement when everything is back online.

Unfortunately, this will mean that the Evolving Item Report will have to be postponed until another day. Dr. Singh sends her sincerest apologies, and promises that you'll have a great set of evolutions coming up very soon.

The Aquarium is back up and running! Due to a huge number of people hitting it all at once, the Aquarium feature was causing some server stress issues and lagging the site a bit, so we temporarily took it offline for some tinkering.

During the downtime, we kept your fish safe and well-fed. They didn't age while the Aquarium was offline, so you haven't lost any time with your fishies. The wise and noble Overseer is now well-rested and frisky, and he's starting to grant items.

Oh, and be sure to check your Daily Chance carts! One of the main ways we're giving out Aquarium items is through the Daily Chance, so you've got pretty good odds of snagging some stuff for your tank, or maybe even a fish. Elsewhere, the Marketplace is a great place to turn your Gold into Goldfish.

Hello Gaians!

You guys already know that Gaia is expanding all the time with new features, games, and things to do, but we're also keeping an eye on improving what's already there. In fact, Gaia has a team dedicated to improving parts of the site that are clunky, glitchy, or currently on fire.
