I never got the scarf sad (

Try caroling in the towns, not just the shops.
I carolled in both and now its just repeating the items

You checked everywhere in your inventory? Even the items and accessories?
That's strange because I'm a girl avi as well - since the items don't discriminate this year - and I have a scarf. It was my third item I gained.
My third item was the dress not the scarf and ya i checked the whole invo
