What you do while under the influence of pot sure as hell can.

I've seen nothing any better come from smoking marijuana than I have seen come from drinking. I have seen more long term violence come from dealing with marijuana than drinking. It's no better.

I want to see marijuana legalized just so that everyone who claims it is a wonderful thing can be put to shame.

Any I've talked or met that wanted marijuana to be legalized was never involved with the drug anymore than smoking it.

Please, do tell us about all of the cases in which high people were violent. People who smoke weed don't get violent.
They don't necessarily need to be high. But marijuana is definitely involved through gun trades in the middles east. And in closer cases to home, drug deals. This could very well be because of it's legal stand point. Most people forget why so many people turn to selling marijuana in the first place. Authority. If it becomes legal people will turn to something else illegal.
Usually domestic marijuana dealers/growers are doing it so they can feed their families, and make ends meet.

I know a lot of people who grow and sell, and most of them are doing it so they can afford to pay their rent, their car insurance, their kid's college tuition, their electric bills, etc...

The reason violence surrounds drug deals is because there are no laws to protect, which in many cases, is someone's source of income.
If you sell roses for example, which are legal, if someone steals all your roses you can report it and can insure your stock. If someone beats you up and steals your roses, you can call the police and press charges.
You can't do that with marijuana, so you have to protect yourself.

pot smokers violent? lmao i dont know who the heck you have seen or what they were smoking, but it wasn't pot, pot doesn't make anyone violent, it makes people calm and more easily able to access the meditative parts of there brain, and in some cases hungry, but never violent, saying pot does that is like saying a tranquilizer makes people violent, and not sleepy.
