a dog from a breeder, is bred for particular traits, there are boosted instincts in them, for those tasks, if you don't use them for those tasks, they can become neurotic in some cases, or worse...try to get a sheepdog to stop herding, go ahead, you'll have to abuse it to a puddle making, shaking at the sound of a breeze state to stop it. those breeds aren't needed anymore, let them go, they no longer suit a real purpose, and as it stands, the amount of them that are sick cause of constant inbreeding is getting scandalous. buying a breeder dog encourages creating sick dogs, the best you can be is lucky when looking for a healthy breeder dog.

black_wing_angel Ok, what about my cousin, who was born with a cleft lip? Should he have had to wait until he was to be 18, to get it fixed? Or should we just say that his parents did the right thing, having it fixed while he was still too young for it to impact his life? what about your cousin? what percentage of the population would be angry at their parents for fixing their cleft lip? i gather it's a tiny percentage, club feet, appendicitis, different length legs, all that stuff, a person would most likely grow up miserable. by the time they were old enough to understand what was done, they'd appreciate their parents for not making them suffer through life like that. circumcision is different, in that, there's a group that wish their parents had done it, and there's a group that wish their parents hadn't, the rest, are mostly the kind that aren't aware of the difference, including those that are cheery about the way they are. count the people that wish their parents hadn't gotten their cleft lip fixed, we'll figure what percentage of people that have/had the condition, that is, i'm betting, a small percentage. i don't know what it's like to be circumcised, but that doesn't matter, i know that i find little richard with long hair is better looking than with short. i'm glad my mom didn't leave me crawling for hours in a dirty diaper cause i didn't cry when it was soiled, only changing me when i expressed a desire to be changed, glad my mom required that i take care of my hair, and clean my room, all kinds of stuff, i'd be pretty upset that my mom didn't do something for me that was so important. circumcision is not about what's best for the child, it's what the parent wants, and no parent knows that their kid will be upset that they were/n't circumcised, but they know their kid will be upset if they didn't treat a serious medical issue and left them crippled, cleft lip is a problem because it interferes with eating, and leaves the teeth exposed, where they can be damaged easily, the lips keep saliva on the teeth, saliva is anti-bacterial, and bacteria is what causes tooth decay, hmm, kinda the same as foreskin, a protective organ that besides protecting from abrasion, has anti-bacterial chemicals secreted under it... |

black_wing_angel Why do that, when I can save time and money by buying clothes from Walmart, and simply wearing a belt, if they're slightly too loose? ever thought about wearing suspenders? your pants could be really loose, and still stay up, with a belt there's bunching...and i wouldn't wear khaki's daily either. a good pair of black slacks(btw, there's a song called black slacks, real old one), blazer and shirt, there's a decent start to a wardrobe. which costs more? one really good suit that will last, and fit, or 20 cheap ones that won't fit? |

black_wing_angel Wait, tailored suits that last a long time? WHAT?! I've seen this theory tested, and it turned out that designer clothes were less durable than cheaper outfits. designer clothes = tailored? when i watch fashion shows, i often react with 'who the ******** would wear something as ugly as that?', they're not supposed to last a long time, or the people that buy them would have them long enough to reach the conclusion that they were brain damaged for buying it in the first place. i mean tailored, the kind actually made by a tailor, not made to a designers template by 4 year olds in bangladesh or something. REAL tailored clothes last a long time, better fabrics, better stitching, no cheap trash thread, or modern plastics. |
