KirinDave DeadSeraphim KirinDave DeadSeraphim @Kirin: At the moment we're on 25gig in my house. Shaped after cap break. Do you find yourself reducing your internet usage to avoid hitting it? I know I'd hit that most months out of the year, but I'm a big internet video fan. @El Rab: ADSL 2 (+) is okay. Switches for it are few and far between though, so you might not see much of an increase speed wise. Our ADSL2+ switch was far enough away that we only just topped ADSL1 speeds. I could hit that cap without torrents just from our ustream habit (shiba-inu-puppycam was a big hit here). Hulu also takes a quite a chunk out of my monthly allotment. |

Dude Looks Like A Lady 2 DeadSeraphim You're a strange man. When I go camping, the only thing I take from civilization are a swag, a towel, sausages and alcohol. Laptops stay at home. my idea of camping is a camper, electricity, Satellite TV, and I do agree on the alcohol, in all honesty, I could stay in a tent, but the wife would not like that too much @Kirin: Tsk tsk. You're all technophiles. Also, firewall isn't even implemented yet! If at all. Civil liberties groups are going crazy over it. |
