Playing Perfect World Now Go to post 2 Gaming Discussion Sun Dec 20, 2009 7:12 pm
Hmm. I used to play Perfect World, but I tried it again when the new expansion came out, and it just wasn't as fun as I remembered. Have you tried Ether Saga Online? It's also by Perfect World Entertainment, and it's very similar in many ways... but more cartoon-styled, and in my opinion, more fun. ^^; If you ever decide to try it, my character's name is MingZhu, and I play on the Fort Phoenix server. smile

I'll always love the original Super Mario games, but my current favorite is Super Paper Mario. smile
Good Free MMOs? Go to post 3 Gaming Discussion Sun Dec 20, 2009 7:02 pm
I've been playing Ether Saga Online for the last few weeks, and it's pretty good. I've played quite a few MMORPGs, and it's one of the better ones. My character's name is MingZhu, and I play on the Fort Phoenix server.
Cosplayers in Society Go to post 76 Anime/Manga/Comics Sun Dec 20, 2009 6:58 pm
There's no excuse for their actions, but I tend to agree with some of the other comments here. Cosplaying in public is going to draw attention to you, and more often than not, negative attention. If you want to avoid that, reserve cosplay for Halloween, conventions, and other events in which it would not seem so out of place.
Your Grades And Anime Go to post 159 Anime/Manga/Comics Sun Dec 20, 2009 6:52 pm
I think it may have been a distraction for me, at one point. I spent quite a bit of time watching anime with my roommate, when I probably should have been studying or working on projects. It wasn't a big problem, but I can look back now and see that I should have spent my time more wisely.
What are you guys christmas wishlist Go to post 75 Anime/Manga/Comics Sun Dec 20, 2009 6:48 pm
I'm in the (very gradual) process of redecorating my room, so I mainly asked for items related to that. Nothing anime or manga related this year. I did put a Korean drama (My Girl) on my wish list, though. My family actually requests that I give them a lot of ideas... in fact, this year, they insisted I did not come up with enough, so I had to come up with more. sweatdrop But I'm giving a lot this year, too, so I hope that evens it out a bit.
FullMetal Alchemist Go to post 79 Anime/Manga/Comics Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:02 am
I really enjoyed the anime. I lost interest in the manga storyline, however, and I have yet to see the new "Brotherhood" anime series. So, for now, it's just the original anime for me.

Done. Our eleven year old toy poodle is named after the cat in Sailor Moon - Luna. smile
Best Animated Movie Of All Time Go to post 64 Anime/Manga/Comics Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:36 am
Cassie Hack
Snow White. It wasthe first feature length animated movie. It proved that a cartoon could keep an audience in their seats for an extended period of time. That the medium could be used for more than 5 minute shorts.

I'm glad someone else mentioned it. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
what the first thing you ev3r drew Go to post 32 Anime/Manga/Comics Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:31 am
Who knows? I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. My first anime related drawing was of Sailor Neptune. I drew it when I was in the seventh grade. I'm not sure if I have it now, but I imagine that it looked pretty awkward. Looking back on them, all of my anime related drawings were kind of awkward for a while. I had to get used to the style.
