Do actual vampires exsist? I really can't say for sure but I'm guessing they don't.

As for people like Elizabeth Bathory. -.- Trust me...she may have been a complete psychopath...but she wasn't a vampire. You can call her a vampire metaphorically though (since she had some traits vampires are apparently supposed to have).

If you really want to believe in vampires though and say they're real... *shrug* ...that's completely up to you. talk2hand

Then why do so many believe in a god who glorifies all of the above?

I really don't know... confused Unfortunately I have no clue what gods you are talking about so I can't say much about this.

Casey took a moment to think. It was obvious by now that Mayrune supported the Arcadian Queen and was probably on her side. Still, it seemed like she knew something though. Maybe she was telling the truth and Resha really hadn't killed the emperor? Did she possess any valuable information whatsoever?

The guard was completely shocked by her saying that though. After all, it was true that only high-ranking people, along with any servants or guards, were allowed(sp?) in the palace.

Casey got a serious look on his face...though for him it really wasn't that serious...and stared deep into Mayrune's eyes firmly, as if that would somehow just magically give him all the answers he needed. "You claimed that you belived that Resha didn' kill him. But do you have any actual proof about it?"

....and always have an ace up your sleeve.


((and that's okay if you can't post quickly. i've got school to worry about so yeah... emo i'm thinking about making another character too once i find a good picture to use.))

The place itself was fairly decent, Ira thought, though the looks some of the people were giving the small group did it no good. Ira herself seemed completely oblivious to these eyes, however. At that current moment, she was simply scanning over the, rather dimly-lit, yet warm and cheerful-feeling room. There was the smell of alcohol in the air that was mixed in with numerous other smells, some of them making Ira's mouth water. A few pairs of eyes just briefly flickered to see the weapons Ira had with her and the way she was dressed. It was easy to see that she knew how to fight, well, and that she was used to traveling. It was hard for Ira to tell which of them recognized her as a nomad though just by the looks on their faces. The moment Ira shifted slightly to sit down at one of the many tables, though, their gaze was broken. After just a second or two more of staring at the group, they turned away and went back to whatever they had been previously doing.

"Anything zese girls get, are on me..."

Hm...seemed fair enough considering Ira had helped him. Still, she wouldn't take advantage of his offer too much. That was unnecessary. A simple drink was all she needed. Ira glanced up at the bartender Asholette had just finished talking to. She gave a large, friendly grin, her teeth glistening slightly from the dim light the candle in the middle of the table was giving them. "Do you have any cream soda here?"

"Yes-" The man turned away with a nod to get Asholette's and Ira's drink.

"Just give me the whole bottle." Ira added the comment in as she noticed him about to pour her a glass of the golden-colored liquid. He gave a nod and put the glass away then walked back to the two women, setting their drinks in front of them.

Ira took a sip of hers as Roslin started to talk to the bartender. The top of the bottle rested upon her bottom lip for a while as she savored the sweet taste of the drink. As Roslin looked over at her she lowered the bottle and swallowed the liquid that was sitting in her mouth. "Thieves broke into your room-" Of course Ira had expected to see things like this in Sorua so it really didn't surprise her too much. "-but is there any important reason why?"

She had a point, Casey thought. There was no way a rune bearer could kill another like them. Had the queen found a way around this though? Or maybe she had simply hired someone else to kill the emperor. While the fact that a rune bearer couldn't kill another rune bearer was true, it didn't do much to prove anything. "Have you heard the queen's side of the story though?" If so, Casey wanted to hear it too. It might at least clear things up.

Just then, though, a soldier rushed towards them, instantly recognizing Casey.

A broad grin spread across the thief's face. "Yup! I was gonna stay longer but I heard the emperor had been assassinated so I came back to see what was goin' on." It was kind of nice to realize that people had missed him.

"This concerns the new emperor, my lord."

The new emperor? Were they having elections or something? Who would be the new emperor though? Surely it would be someone powerful enough and very close to the previous emperor while he was still alive. The empire was clever enough to keep it secret though. Had someone already been chosen? Or were they still waiting to make a decision? There were so many questions Casey had....

"I guess y' wish for me t' follow you then?"

....and always have an ace up your sleeve.
