The Law of Agape means that the old, legalistic rules embodied in codes like Leviticus were superceded with a New Covenant, simplifying them and reducing them to the bare essence, which is basically Be Excellent to Each Other!

Correct. the laws of leviticus were overturned by Jesus.

the same reson why htings stay in our history books: So we know it happened. People just use it as a foundation for homophobia, without realizing the law was trashed, and that there's many other laws there...like you are to be beheaded for orgasming outside of a female, can't shave, you are unclean for 7 days after going to the bathroom, you can't wear clothes of two different materials, ect ect. If we adhered 100% to the laws of leviticus, life would be screwy.
