EDWARD ELRIC ROCKS MY SOCKS PLZ.

I'm in love with this anime for an infinite number of reasons. It may be much different from its manga, but it still came together into a beautiful story. Ugh. Too many wonderful things about it to write all at once, so I'll try to summarize.

-great dubbing
-incredible character development
-plot was happy and grim and ALL across the emotional board
-the end was climactic to the extreme.
-plot twists! I WAS DRIVING MYSELF NUTS WAITING FOR THE NEW EPISODE EACH SATURDAY
-the movie wrapped it all up nicely. the ending wasn't too happy or too sad...just right.
-as a whole, this anime is memorable in every way.

Though the fandom has become a little out of hand at times, I still love this show for what it is. And I'll always be a fan.

I personally would have liked Light a LOT better if he weren't so narcissistic.

I sort of have a thing against cold-blooded, emotionless freakos with scary laughter.

...Especially those who manage to make potato chips sparkle. FLAMERLOL?

ANYWAY.

...I bought myself a medicom Light figurine just so my medicom L could kick his a**. Is that sad? I do hope they release Mello and Near medicoms... that would rock my socks hardcore. biggrin

CODE GEASS. HISS. I can hardly take an anime seriously when the main character was dubbed by Johnny Yong Bosch (Good actor, but has had WAY too many leads lately), when the show consistently fails at making you CARE about the plot, and when you've pretty much seen every character's a**. Like, ever.





Suzaku is hot, though. biggrin

This anime deserves a bazillion standing ovations ;A; asdfasdf. I weep from the awesomeness.

I was repulsed by Code Geass until I first saw Suzaku Kururugi.
