Fiore rolled her eyes, but didn't argue back. Now wasn't the time for petty arguments. Now was the time for escape, for action. She aimed her pistol at a tall human male armed with a pistol and fired, hitting him in the chest. It was below her intended target, his head, but it did the job, and he crumpled to the ground dead. As the airlock began to cycle, more and more enemies appeared in the doorway opposite them, more than the three of them could take on alone. One of them, a tall, pot bellied alien with a thin, streamlined head aimed a rifle at Fiore and fired, just before a bullet from her gun tore through his brain case. His bullet hit it's intended target however, burying itself in Fiore's right thigh. She howled in pain and dropped to a knee, but didn't stop fighting, despite the pain.

Fiore caught the PDA and stared incredulously at Bragor. He actually wanted her to leave him behind to die! Clearly blood loss was beginning to affect his mind. She fixed him with a steely gaze. "Bragor! I cannot believe you would even think of suggesting that I leave you behind to die at the hands of these monsters! It is unthinkable, no, impossible for me to follow such an insane command, no matter who gives the order. It is not in my nature to disobey my commanding officer, but you have given me no choice." She drew her pistol and cocked it."If we are meant to die here today, we will go down fighting side by side, in a blaze of glory as I have heard some say." Fiore could hear the dirge-like chant getting steadily louder as they went. She knew they didn't have much time to escape. "Come! we must make haste! we do not have time to lose! Cholena is waiting for us! If we can make it that far, we may have a chance to get out of this place alive!"

Lukas turned around when he heard another person enter the cave. It was a female, human by the look of her, pretty, with flawless caramel skin and mystifying sapphire eyes. Her long ebony locks were plastered to her skin with water. She seemed to be shivering with cold, and rightly so, seeing how sparsely she was dressed. She looked at him with a strange gaze, as though he was some kind of oozing tentacle monster and she couldn't believe he was sitting there unopposed. He smiled and addressed her with a nonchalant wave.

"Well, hey there! What brings you here to our jolly little party? I trust it's not because you're enjoying the weather, eh?"This was turning out to be a really strange day for Lukas. Not only did he meet up with a Neko and a human sitting together as though they were the best of friends, but another human had wandered into their midst, soaking wet and dressed in strange clothes the likes of which Lukas had never seen before. Maybe living in Oneiros was going to be a lot more fun and intriguing than he had initially hoped

Lukas had been flying overhead when a storm suddenly picked up in the overcast sky. He wasn't in the least bit perturbed by the lighting that crashed in the clouds, after all, what could hurt an angel? But he decoded to land anyway, since it would be tough to fly in turbulence like this. He surveyed the land below for a suitable place to take shelter in until the storm let up. On a beach below, he watched two figures scurry into a cave in the cove. They had the right idea. He turned around and made a beeline straight for the beach. When he landed, he folded his wings behind him, making them glow to light his way into the cave. Once inside, he flapped his wings to dry them off, then went to get a closer look at the two people he had seen. One male human, and a male Neko. He raised an eyebrow at the unlikely duo.

" A Neko traveling with a human? Wow, now I've seen everything!" He chuckled jovially. Lukas hadn't been in Oneiros long, but he'd been here long enough to know that it was extremely rare to see Nekos and humans traveling together, especially since most humans in Oneiros saw the Neko as nothing more than thieving, untrustworthy vermin. Of course there were a few Neko/Human couples here and there, but those were even more rare than just seeing them travel together, and these to definitely weren't a couple. Either this human was utterly kind, or he wasn't from around here. Lukas decided on the latter.

"So, what brought you two together? I know it couldn't have been choice, and I don't believe in coincidence." He went and sat down nearby, but not close enough to pose a threat.

Fiore took Bragor's complaints in stride and countered with her own argument. "I did not say that it was unguarded, I said that it was poorly guarded. There is a difference, you know. It was a miscalculation on my part, and for that, I am sorry." She then proceeded to follow Bragor's order. She placed a finger to a button on the commlink in her ear and spoke into it. "Cholena, this is Fiore. Be advised, there is a formidable group of enemies heading in your direction. Bragor and I are headed there as well, and we are in need of immediate medical assistance, so have your supplies ready when we get there. Fiore out." She continued onward as fast as she could, but Bragor's weight was becoming increasingly burdensome on her smaller frame, especially since she was also losing blood from her various slash and stab wounds. Fiore could see the edges of her vision becoming hazy, but she pressed on, determined to get both Bragor and herself to safety. To give up now meant not only the deaths of both her and Bragor, but the deaths of hundreds of others in the Colonies, and she wouldn't allow that to happen.
