It could be real, but it looks fake to me.

But the next KH game is coming out on the Wii, I think, isn't it?
No, there are two new ones. One for the DS one for the PSP.

DS = 358/2 Days (or some number like that...) deals with Org. XIII after CoM, mostly why Roxas left the Organization.

PSP = Birth by Sleep (or better known as Kingdom Hearts III) takes place 10 years before the original Kingdom Hearts (meaning Sora and Riku are little kids and Kairi's not in the picture yet.)

Riku (last time) in KH AND KH: CoM: Since he has stopped me cold in TWO games, he is by far, the most frustrating boss ever!

Arietta and friends (first time) in Tales of the Abyss: Hardest fight in the entire game. Had to fight her twelve (or so) times before I finally beat her.

Cornell and Violetta in Grandia III: IMPOSSIBLE! END OF STORY!

This is not just about why people like Twilight, but why you shouldn't just go bashing it because you read (or didn't read) the book and hated it.

it is not that Edward Cullen is perfect, or a vampire or whatever you think. it's because it's a guy, who, unlike many of they guys teenaged girls experience, Tells Bella How much he cares about her, he LISTENS to her, he tries to protect her, and, some girls would love to have their knight in shinning armor (or sparkling vampire, take your pick) come swooping in to save them. He also is not constantly saying things like "your mom" or "suck it" or "that's what she said". Sure, we do find it funny..... once in a while. And did any one of you Twilight bashers who did actually read the book take into account the fact that Edward goes against his nature trying to keep Bella safe??? so many girls would love a guy to do something like that. Bella is also a character that many girls relate to. She is not gorgeous, or rich, or perfect or anything. She is incredibly clumsy. She is just kind of normal and average (except for the whole in-love-with-a-vampire-and-wants-to-become-one-thing)

So many books that are considered teen fiction have the main characters that are far from the average teen girl, that it's refreshing to see one that has an almost normal person in it. any books that do feature normal people tend to (but don't always) have incredibly stupid situations. I must say that i do love most of Sarah Dessesn's books.

I have read a good number of the books that many people have listed, Such as To Kill A Mocking Bird, Dracula, Romeo And Juliet, the Harry Potter Series, and many others. I Do love the Twilight books--- they are up there on my favorites, But I also Consider to Kill A Mocking Bird, White Oleander, The House of the Seven Gables, The Uglies Series and sooooo many more up there as well. Hell, i even love Dr. Seuss books and list them up there too.

The thing is, many of the books people have listed are ones that the main group that twilight is focused toward-- Teen Girls,---- are ones that they 1) would generally NOT pick up 2) have never heard of 3) would pick up and put down because they would be "too boring" or 4) Just wouldn't be interested in.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT TWILIGHT IS THE BEST BOOK EVER, Just that to a lot of people, they really enjoy it because it keeps them interested and it makes them happy.

TWILIGHT ACTUALLY GETS TEENAGERS READING BOOKS WITH JUST A LITTLE SUBSTANCE, RATHER THAN THE CRAP LIKE GOSSIP GIRLS AND THE CLIQUE.... not to say those books aren't guilty pleasures.

I thank anyone who actually read the whole thing, keeping in mind that i am not some literary expert, but a 15-year-old girl who loves to read.

* i forgot to mention that it's also gotten me to WANT to read wuerthering heights, Romeo and Juliet (whom i find incredibly immature and irrational--- they decide to kill themselves every time something goes wrong, and Many of the books by Jane Austen.

If Bella is a normal teenage girl, then I am extremely worried about the state of American teenage girls in this day and age.

Oh, and by the way, I am a thirteen-year-old girl (target Twilight audience) and I have read a lot of the books named by other people.

Twilight has no substance. Just grotesquely predictable characters and shallow romance.

God, I hated that book. Like I want to read about invincible vamps and the most boring Mary-Sue ever. talk2hand

Anyway, my list:

1. Percy Jackson & the Olympians series (four books so far) by Rick Riordan
2. His Dark Materials series (three books) by Phillip Pullman
3. The Book Thief by Micheal Zusak
4. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
5. The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer

I love House of the Scorpion! xD That's another book for my list! razz

Best sci-fi book ever!
