"Uhura"


He sighed and shook his head. This was probably a case of a bad panic attack. Uhura tried to calm her, "Look, I went down there just a few moments ago. Someone was trying to get out, not in and there are no bad people anywhere near this building." Well, except maybe Aden. The thought couldn't help but cross his mind. "Noone's going to kill you or rape you. Everyone is only here to help." He helped her stand, then led her down the hall. "Come. Let's find your room so you can get some sleep."

((I'm just going to assume that they all followed him. And I found the full pic! This artist is amazing O-O))

"Alex..." Joy chased him down the hall and placed a hand on his shoulder. She took notice to the pained look on his face. "Before you go, I want...to apologize. And to tell you that I'll do anything I can to make this up to everyone. I'm sorry." Now it was her turn to turn away and trudge back to Mrs. May and Uhura. She would have to deal with Aden soon, that much was certain. She sighed as she returned to follow Mrs. May so she could tell whatever it is she thought she should know.



Uhura watched the scene fold out before him. The situation for that little girl seemed grim, but he knew Alex wouldn't let her die so easily. Hopefully, both of them would make it through without many bumps. Joy made a fool of herself (yet again.) She didn't need to apologize to him. She should be worried about what Aden would think. Not even Alex or he would be able to stop him from whatever punishment he could conceive in that twisted mind of his. Perhaps he would take mercy on her because she was new.

Unlikely, Uhura thought before taking his leave. He found Kabecka once again, collapsed on the floor, covering her head. He dropped to her side and shook her, yelling, "What's wrong? Are you alright?" He couldn't leave anyone in this hospital alone for five minutes, could he?

"Uhura"


Uhura threw his head back and laughed, "Neat?" He sighed and reconsidered, "Hmm...perhaps you are right. Normal people my age work in retail or rely on their parents for their income." He turned to her, a serious look on his face, "I get to be bossed around by a guy with a personality disorder."

Then the blaring of alarms began. Uhura jumped with a start. Someone had tried to get outside! They wouldn't get far though, not if he or one of Gregory's (now Aden's) security goons caught them first. Escape would be nearly impossible.

"You should go to your room, Ms. Willis," he stated coldly. With that, he rushed down to the lobby and discovered the source of all this chaos. That Perry woman stood outside with some kid. He wasn't sure, but from what he had heard from the other staff, her happy-dappy, sunshine-y personality would be the death of her.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Uhura barked. Security surrounded them by now, carrying beat-sticks and tazers. "Are you trying to get fired?"

"Goodnight," Joy said, blushing slightly at the girl's comment. "Take care of yourself now, dear." She lingered in the hallway for a few moments until all had calmed to a dull roar. The crying, raving person had ceased her sobs and drifted into sleep like the many others. She yawned as well and wandered downstairs to the place Mrs. May had told her the bedrooms were located. She wished she could go home for the night, but the man on the announcements had made it clear that the new owner had other plans.

When she descended to the lobby of the hospital, Joy heard small cries coming from outside. At first it seemed like her imagination and the lack of sleep, but she opened the door anyway, just to check, forgetting entirely about Aden's lockdown. She found a little girl, no more than six years old, abandoned on the steps of the Asylum.

Ignoring the alarms blaring, she approached the crying girl and said, "Honey? Are you alright? You should come inside. It's cold out here."
