Sorry for disappearing everyone.
I went to my grandparents who don't have internet access.
T__T
I swear if I hadn't come home as soon as I did I would have gnawed my own damn legs off from the boredom.
*Anyway, I'll try and catch up as soon as I can.
*Scratch that, I've come to the decision that since I make people leave after 2 weeks that I'm going to have to do the same - a tough rule to enforce I know, especially upon myself - I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to leave the thread.

Oh, my god.
Shoot me now, please!
I'm so sorry for disappearing like that without warning you guys.
A surprise trip to my grandparents, who just happen to have NO INTERNET ACCESS.
*Anyway, I'm back now and I'll be working to catch up as much as I can before I have to leave AGAIN on Sunday [or Monday] for camp.
T___T
Totally not my week.
*Scratch that, I've come to the decision that since I make people leave after 2 weeks that I'm going to have to do the same - a tough rule to enforce I know, especially upon myself - I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to leave the thread.

"Just what the doctor ordered," Zephyr said sarcastically as he accepted the paperwork, glancing over it before lifting his good leg and resting the clipboard against it, filling out the paperwork. He was glad, for once, that he was left handed. His right hand was only good for holding the clipboard up. It didn't take long for him to fill out the paperwork. Most of it was information he had memorized, and the rest was reading and signing agreements. After that was all over the nurse was back in and she took the clipboard and did a quick run through of the things he needed to know, also giving him a level look and saying, "I'd also advice against going to work for a while." Zephyr lied, promising her he'd be taking some time off. She seemed to accept that and gave him and Evan a small smile before walking out. "Oh," she said clearly remembering something she'd forgotten as she peeked her head back in. "It might do good to invest in a wheelchair until you're fully recovered." She said and then left completely.
Zephyr picked up his cell phone after giving Evan a 'yeah right' expression and checked his missed calls. Seventeen from Jessica, four from Lynn, and a text from Franca. Zephyr turned his phone off, glancing down at his leg.
[ I know, this post sucks. I'm sorry. Something personal's come up and I just don't think I could finish this post without having Zephyr become randomly depressive. ]

--Hopelessly Naïve: Perhaps is comes from being raised in a very isolated environment, and under such strict rules. Lyyti is virtually blind to the ways of the American teenager, and struggles day by day to somewhat fit it with her new surroundings. She is easily fooled, easily misled, and easy to take advantage of.
--Caring: She cares about everything and anything. Even things that really shouldn’t matter to her. If you come to her with a problem, she is likely to obsess over you whether she knows you or not.
--Shrinking Violet: She was raised to be a rather passive person, and will gladly sink into the background in favor of people with stronger personalities. Tends to be rather shy around others.

Lytti is a recent immigrant from a small, traditional community in Finland. She was raised the old-fashioned way, as a gentle wife and homemaker, by her father. And that same father also plans on making her an opera sensation before she is nineteen, in the same way her late mother was. Since she was a little girl, her parents would take her to Helsinki on weekends to see her mother perform, and also to be trained there as a soprano by her mother’s vocal coach in the hopes of one day taking the stage alongside her. Unfortunately, she never got that chance. Her mother fell ill when Lyyti was fourteen, and died later that year.
Of course, she was devastated, but her father became all the more driven. He pulled strings, and was able to get his daughter an even more prestigious vocal coach in America. Though he very much objected to the way girls lived in America, he decided to send her. Her schedule was packed the moment they arrived, between homeschooling and training. There was little time for anything else. And there still isn’t. Very rarely, she will be found grocery shopping. Otherwise, she lives in with her instructor.
●●●●●●●●Stop●✖
Franco Vääräniemi: Her father. A very commanding, strict individual bent upon securing his daughter as a successful soprano like her mother before her. He still lives in Finland, and sends her letters every so often.
Aada Karjalainen [Vääräniemi]: Her mother. Died when she was fourteen. A very successful opera singer in her day.

"Ev," Zephyr said with a small smirk as his employee walked into the room. He was a fairly nice guy, and a good guy to have around if you got in a fight and needed an extra pair of fists. He was also surprisingly adept at helping out some of their more un-happy customers, which was a bonus for Zephyr. Anyone who could cheer someone up without having some secret power was a good person in his mind. He gave a small laugh, holding his breath at the pain that came along with it before responding. "She's gonna have a field day with this.. always going on about how something bad's gonna happen, and this time she's right," Zephyr said and shook his head, looking over at Evan.
He watched Evan sit down, and mentally cursed himself for the thought that crossed his mind about a little something he'd like to do to Evan. He was almost glad that he seemed to be the only one at his work that had a power, then again.. if his employees kept their secrets as well as he did.. well... Zephyr brushed those thoughts away and gave Evan a one shoulder shrug. "I'd describe the wreck to you in detail but I don't think I'd have time," Zephyr said and glanced at the door as the doctor came back in, a nurse trailing behind. "Here are your things Mr. Morgan, your cell phone's been ringing almost non-stop." He said, sounding slightly annoyed. Zephyr looked the doctor dead in the eyes and gave him the emotion of happiness. The doctor blinked a few times and then grinned happily, turning to the nurse. "Make sure you tell him everything he needs to know," he said and then took up a cheery whistle as he walked out of the room.
The nurse watched him walk out and shook her head. "I swear that man's got more mood swings than I do," she muttered and then turned to Zephyr, blushing. "Sorry," she said and Zephyr shook his head. "It's all right, do you mind giving me and my uh.. brother a few more minutes?" he asked and she glanced at Evan before nodding. "Sure thing," she said and gave him a smile before setting some bandages and a prescription bottle of something at the foot of his bed on her way out. Zephyr let out a slow sigh and turned to Evan. "Please tell me you're here to get me out of here?" he asked.
[[Yea, after editing this post about four times now I think it's time for me to go to bed. My headache's getting in the way of my posting abilities. I'll go over it again in the morning. For now, I give up.]]

"All right, I've patched your leg up as best as I can," the doctor said only a few moments after the nurse had left to go get his brother. "You'll need a cast and I'll be taking a look at your ribs after you're done speaking with your brother, but you should be fine. You're lucky, crash like that. If you hadn't been wearing a helmet, you might not be here," the doctor said seriously and Zephyr nodded, watching as the doctor walked out, bumping into another doctor who he then began talking to. Zephyr lay back on the bed and closed his eyes, resting as much as he could. His leg felt like someone was sitting on it while wearing pants made out of pieces of broken glass, his arm had been wrapped, and his suit was definitely ruined. Zephyr tried to clear his mind of all the unimportant crap, figuring that his brother was more important.
"I'm Zach. You kind of hit me...I don't know why I stayed," Zephyr heard, and he opened his eyes to look over and see the guy from before. He frowned, slightly confused, but then realized that the guy must have lied to get in. It was sweet, but then again it could also be deadly. Zephyr kept his attention clear on Zach's words, and the emotions behind them. "I actually don't know why I'm still here..." he said and Zephyr could feel his swirling emotions, the most prominent being fear. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay..." Zephyr heard him say before his emotions turned into that of pain. Zephyr realized he might be hurt from the accident and sat up to see if he was okay, but the pain from his chest caused him to grimace and lay back down a little.
Zach looked like he was in trouble and was clearly not okay and Zephyr was about to call for one of the doctors when out of nowhere his IV exploded. Zephyr cringed away from it, gritting his teeth against the pain of moving so quickly, and so much. When he finally dared to look, Zach was looking at him with a terrified expression on his face. "Wait, Zach!" Zephyr called and then grunted, gritting his teeth against the stabbing pain in his chest and laying back completely onto the bed. His doctor came back in, hearing him call and confused as to why Zach had ran and looked at Zephyr's vitals and the incinerated IV.
"What the hell happened in here?" the doctor asked, but Zephyr couldn't answer, so he simply ignored the doctor's question. "I need to go, can you just get a cast on me or something?" Zephyr asked, and focused his power on the doctor, making him feel compliant and helpful. The doctor blinked a few times before nodding. "Yes Mr. Gordon, I'll be right back with your things and I'll send a nurse in in a few minutes to take care of your bandages and instruct you on changing them, you still have another visitor," the doctor said before backing out of the room, looking a bit dazed. Zephyr closed his eyes, fighting the creeping headache that was settling on him and wondered who else would be there to see him.

Eli gave a small laugh at that before stepping away from the tree and phasing at the same moment. He sensed Kris's mind coming near him and decided it wouldn't kill him to wait a few moments to see if Kris said something or showed up. He had to wait for Cari to climb onto his back anyway. Speaking of which, he thought before he padded out from behind the tree, laying down and waiting for her.
Length = EPIC FAIL.

"Is there a reason I shouldn't," Zephyr asked, before giving Luke the best smile he could. It was a cheeky response, but it was his way of saying yes. A flutter of butterflies danced around in his stomach as he began listing off things that Luke could possibly be planning, a few of them perverted, but not likely. Either way, Zephyr trusted Luke.. he had a problem seeing anything Luke did as untrustworthy.
It's okay, >.< Mine's probably not much longer.

Zephyr was awake on the hospital bed, the small dose of morphine they'd given him having worn off. They'd offered to allow him another dose, but he'd refused. It had been nice to be free of pain, but he could easily just feed off of the emotions of the surprisingly calm doctor that was taking care of his leg. The pain was terrible, and he was having issues keeping his eyes open despite not being inebriated from morphine anymore, but it was bearable if he kept calm. "His brothers are out in the waiting room, if you think it would help we could allow one of them in." a nurse said, peeking her head in, but she wasn't looking at Zephyr when she spoke, she was looking at the doctor.
"My brother?" Zephyr asked, having only caught that one word, and only part of it at that. Ignoring the hands that tried to press him back onto the bed. "Where is he?" Zephyr asked, the calm he'd been feeding off from the doctor dissipating into his own anticipation at seeing his brother. His mind, being muddled from the accident, didn't allow him to ask himself why his brother would suddenly show up at the hospital he was in, and especially not how his brother would even know about the accident or what hospital he was in. He hadn't seen his brother since they had put their mother in that home, and that had been.. gods, going on six years now.
"Let one in, please Mr. Gordon, I can't help you if you keep moving around like that," the doctor said turning back to Zephyr's leg. Startled at being called Mr. Gordon, he'd never been called that even by his employees, Zephyr gave a nod before laying back on the bed. He was slightly in shock at his brother being there, and he didn't even give a second thought to it. The shock turned into a bit of excitement, and also a slight lack of control as his ability bled out and started effecting the doctor and the few nurses working on him. The stupid smile he had on his face was on theirs as well and when he noticed it he forced himself to calm a little and draw in his power.
