Hello! I'm wondering how many fellow cosplayers are on gaia, and what are your favorite materials to use when making a costume. What is the most you've spent making a costume?
I love working with vinyl, it can be a pain in the butt, but it is sure fun to wear. I don't like using satin because it frays too much, and also it looks ugly in photos. I'm also a fan of poly-blends and quilters cotton for shirts and skirts. The most expensive costume I've made was my Hyper Witch Mugi Mugi Deluxe from Nurse Witch Komugi Chan. That costume cost me over $300 in materials to make. |

Honestly, I know I'm a n00b to this site, seeing as I had 56k for years. I have much respect for the people that have been on here since 2003. When I noticed there was advertisement for MTV at all it surprised me. I didn't think the majority of the people who logged on to this site even like MTV or the mindless programming that they show. Seriously? THE HILLS? Drama queens, gold diggers, and materialistic people?! That's what you want to represent your site with?
While I do agree I liked the virtual hollywood because it was some place else to hang out and chat other than towns, rally, and little chats inside jigsaw or fishing... |
