Artist Needed Go to post 52 Comic Creators Mon Oct 26, 2009 11:10 am
IronSpike here, Black Whol.

I think the fact that you felt a thread-ban on my primary account was the appropriate response to the suggestion you spellcheck your posts and re-read the first page of the thread will tell anyone anything they need to know about your level of emotional maturity.

Keep banning. Really, I recommend it. It will just make your inevitable in-person meltdown when someone remarks on your incompetence to your face all the more amusing for the lucky bastards there to see it.

Feel free to ban this account, too. I've got others.

Deffiant k-
U PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE COMIC BOOK MARKET IS. FURTHERMORE: if u were smart,u would know every outlet for printing. both Diamond, independent,as well as the four different free publishing ones, who take royalties only on copies sold.(they also promote, distribute,as well as print for a small fee) i have access to four printers. free. as ive known who owns them since kindergarten. i can use them anytime i want. and secrecy in comics sells MORE comics. and u cant make any money off of one or two titles. the only reason DC comics, and marvel comics make anything now,is off of multiple titles. hence why they still have said industry monopolized. and in DC comics case, warner bros. owns them,so yeah, they can afford any downside. and i am a legit business, and do NOT have to prove it to anyone, until time of sale. nine other people responded to this in pm form. all also provided actual links to artwork online. i hired most of them. they also have proof that they actually know something about the industry, which is something YOU have yet ta prove.

Quoted for posterity. Because Lord knows you like to make these little embarrassments disappear.

IronSpike here. I'd post under my primary, but I guess you didn't like what I had to say, huh?

Still waitin' on the name of your lawyer, kiddo. And identify these print outfits dabbling in distribution, too. If they're willing to waive tens of thousands of dollars of profit to publish Deffiant's Imaginary Comics, Inc., LLC, Co., they must be pretty darn big.

By the way, LOVING the "I have a secret army of silent supporters!" defense. Haven't seen that once since I was sixteen. Care to link the artists supposedly working for you, or are they made of the same crusty Kleenex full of spent semen and bitter tears your lawyer is?

So let's get this straight, lemme make sure I'm not forgetting the important parts.

You're running a company you claim is incorporated, without providing proof of incorporation, a registration number, a website, or a contact besides yourself.

You claim to have backers, who you won't name, a lawyer, who you also won't name, and 47 comics ready to go to print, when you have no idea how to find and use a printer. And by "printer," I mean a company that owns a press, not your Canon DeskMate.

You business plan consists entirely of selling to a collector's market that will not support you, using distributors that do not exist, and while you refuse to promote online for nonsensical reasons, you plan signings and appearances for artists you don't have who work on books who don't exist.

When politely questioned on any of this, you throw tantrums and feebly attempt to sound cagey and mysterious. When called on your lies, the banning starts.

Is that everything?

Oh, yeah, and you say you're 33 years old.

Wanna tell us about your supermodel girlfriend, red Ferrari and 300-pound bench presses, or are you just about done here, sport?
