Why on earth would Danse Macabre make you feel like a bad musician? I've been playing for about 30 years and make my living playing and teaching violin. I played Danse Macabre's solo for scordatura violin last week for the symphony's season opener.

welll.... hardest I can play on guitar and prove is foul body autopsy by Necrophagist, but I've been able to play that for almost a year so meh... I can play all their songs except seven now..... domokun as in the actual song called "Seven" not 7 of their songs XD

I recently began learning pano and the hardest song I can play at the moment is lilium (from the Elfen Lied anime).

Tableaux de Provence on alto sax. The fifth movement is VERY hard to play perfectly at performance tempo, especially with that low D-C#-B-C# sixteenth section on the first page.

But if you can play it well, it's spectacular. I heart Maurice.

I just wish it didn't have to be imported from France. The cheapest I can find it is $50.

Danse Macabre- Violin..

wow....i've been trying to play Danse Macabre on my violin since i could play it! and i still can't get it right! but i can play it a lot better on the piano then i can on violin....damn...props!

but other then that...the hardest song i can play on my violin in the Monti Csardis, and it's memorized. i must say that Devil Went down to Georgia is challenging, but it's easy if you have the music.

on piano, the hardest song i can play is Toccata and Fuge in D minor by Bach.
