Master of puppets
I dont know what the HARDEST song I can play is but my favorite at the moment is Canon Rock >.<
This thread makes me cry a little bit inside.

Anyways, probably Inca Roads on guitar. Zappa's hella...wow. I'm learning it on marimba, too.

As for drums, 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson. I don't play drums that much, but it's probably the most fun you'll ever have on a kit. Killer song.
Trashed and Scattered by Avenged Sevenfold or Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin. (Guitar)

Playing a song isn't hard, remembering it is the hard part for me. Those two might not be the "hardest" in the sense of playing, but you didn't really specify. And this is a rather shitty topic because "hard" doesn't really mean the same thing for everyone...
I can play since I've Been Loving You by Zepplin, I still can't get it to sound the same as jimmy plays though.
Probably Paul Creston's Sonata Op. 19 for Alto Saxophone and Piano. I'd estimate that 90% percent of that piece is accidentals. There's one run in D minor, and that's it. The rest is in Gb or Db.

I like Shiro Hamaguchi's Nightmare of the Cave though. It's really fun to play for piano recitals because I'm the only student in my studio that's in high school. Most are five to seven years-old.

I've never played anything all that difficult on Bassoon, but the Prelude to Bach's Cello Suite in Cmin is really fun - and really emo. I just with I could play the Double-Stops. They add so much to it. emo
A Song called Alvamar Overture on the Clarinet and Flute. My band Played it for a concert last year.
Freya - Sword and some of Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Cannon on the Piano. 3nodding
the hardest song that i have played would be Rivers flow in you by yiruma....i am a piano player....
i know a lot of pretty easy songs but the hardest would prolly be walking away by underoath i usually learn songs pretty fast but it took me forever to learn that song specially b/c i tried to learn it by ear and i still haven't learned that damn solo yet. the easiest i'd say is burden in your hands i love that song. well the music maybe but the lyrics get on my damn nerves!
I LOVE HELENA BY THE MISFITS ,PAY TO c** BY BAD BRAINS ,THE KIDS ARENT ALRIGHT BY THE OFFSPRING ,AND SO MANY OTHERS...

Fugue by Bach on Piano.

But Rock wise, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp by Zep on acoustic guitar. It hurts
my fingers though and I can't play it perfect

Fugue is a hard song. I have the violin version, but still...

The hardest song I can play right now is probably Sonata No. 1 in G Minor for Solo Violin (Presto). So much shifting...so many sixteenth notes...
Tonight I Wanna Cry by Kieth Urban. By ear on piano
on guitar, I don't know. I don't try to scale myself, I just play for pleasurrr :B

I know a pretty hard xylophone song but then like I guess it's not hard once you get get moderately well, could be harder.
