What do you guys think of my vocals/lyrics

I got a new iphone and so now I have garage band for the first time ever. I made an experiment for my boyfriend. Apple loops + my vocals:

I know the audio levels in each snippet are weird.
Im wondering if I actually have a knack for singing and lyric writing?

Your voice is pretty good, and it went well with the acoustic guitar. Though the lyrics were hard to hear at times, so a good suggestion would be to put the lyrics onto a separate layer, and increase the volume of it maybe. Its also hard to tell what the main chorus is. All in all, youve got something goin. So I say keep it up. Here's my work. I dont have any lyrics, but I mainly do instrumentals. Tell me what you think of my stuff!
