Welcome to Gaia! ::

So I want to ask for help from the musicians of the musicians forum...

Give me some recommendations for tube amps at around 15 or so watts... Needs to be lightweight and versatile.

On my mind: Fender Blue's Jr... Egnater Tweaker...

What kind of sound are you going for?

Why not get a good modeling amp, like a Fender Mustang? That way you're not stuck with a single sound this early in the game.
Exactly what he said. I used to play live gigs before my house got wiped from a fire. I bought a Fender Mustang I for 99 of MF. Best money can buy right here. Many tones from a small 20w amp. Wont sound like a tube amp, but it is something you may wanna check out.
A Vox AC 15 is the obvious way to go razz

Orange amps are pretty good too, either an AD 15 or a Tiny Terror could serve you well in that wattage range.

I love the sound I currently have running through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe... The only problem is that I hate the weight of lugging around that amp and at 40W its too loud for most applications. I play at a church and might start doing small venues in the near future, so I wanna mic my rig. So I'm turning to small portable tube amps...

Fender Blue's Jr is an obvious choice since it takes pedals so well, but again, size is a major concern. Tweaker for its versatility and size... I'm just wondering if I'm overlooking anything...
blues jr...they are OP when it comes to clean and they are also pretty god damn loud for 15 watts. You really can't beat a fenders clean tone. I had to part with my Blues Jr a while back and it hasn't been the same since. crying
Vox tube amp all the way.

The Fender Super Champ XD is a great amp for around $300 or less. Its got a tube preamp and has digital effects built it and has like 16 voices. Very versatile.
I have a Vox AC 30, I strongly recommend the Vox.

The Vox AC amps are just too heavy though! Lol... They weigh a ton and thats what I wanna avoid because its annoying... The Tweaker is what I think I'm going to shoot for.

Look at the AC 10. It's hella tiny.
Not a fan of the tweaker. It sounds great on it's own, but it's never spoken well with my pedals.
Did they start remaking the AC10 recently?
To my knowledge they are pretty ******** rare and s**t

also
Get used to tube amps being HEAVY AS ********
My first REAL tube amp was around... 60 or 70lbs(Stiletto Ace)
I used to practice lifting it everyday to bulk up so I could carry it when need be.

I can now lift a Super Reverb with no problem because of that amp.
Godspeed wherever you are Ace

I'm about to come into a Lonestar 1x12... derriciouses.
Gotta hawk my SR and Twin first though.
Get a Fender Champ. Brilliant set of tones, portable size and an all-round great amp!
