Take a listen?

Hey folks,

I recorded most of this about two years ago, before I ended up getting sick and eventually disabled. I'm hoping to pick my guitar back up once I can exercise a bit more and get my vocal range back to some semblance of what it was. In the meantime, if it's not too much trouble, could you have a listen and let me know what you think? I always did my best to focus more on the lyrics, and to try not to sound like any other bands (which I most likely failed at, haha.)

Also, I apologize for the quality. It was done with Audacity, and one 10 dollar microphone from Wal-Mart. So, considering what I was working with, I was pretty pleased with the result. I would like to record it with better equipment someday, but we'll see what happens, haha.

Did you record these before or after you got sick?


A little vocal polishing, and I'd pay money for this - nicely done. I'm loving the four-chord blues - very good.

Kind of in the process, unfortunately. I haven't picked my guitar up for a few months, just because I've been in and out of the hospital, having a total hip replacement surgery and the resulting physical therapy (at 23 years old, haha.) I'm hoping to start playing and writing again once things have settled down a bit, and maybe even record in a studio, rather than in my bedroom with one microphone and free software, haha.

Find yourself a decent producer, and some talented musicians, and you could really have something going for you.

but u should use ur diaphragm on the parts that sound breathy , that will help when recording ..
