Miss Coriel's VG Music Request

Hi,
Miss Coriel here from Miss Coriel's VG Music Request (MCVGMR)
Most of my group are older generation people and have a love to make our old 8bit and 16bit music themes to a different beat and we love to share smile .
We would like to know how you all like it. Each Theme is Sequenced and mastered by one of our crew.
We take note that not everyone likes old video game music, be nice and don't flame, there are people that eat this stuff up. Today, we will give you two of our albums. All Mp3 files are downloadable is well. And if you like them, please share it with others on Facebook and such.

Drakkhen Remix Best of Best
This selection contains the 3 best remixes we made for the SNES game Drakkhen. It contains Remix 7,9, and 10.

New from Alarick's and Miss Coriel's Twisted mind:
8-bit Dreams Album
This album contains music from SNES and above music turned into 8-bit versions.

heart heart Individual Songs heart heart

These are songs that are not a part of an Album. They were spur the moment themes and posted for nostalgic value.

Quest 64- Battle Theme
This theme took a simple tune and gave it a major RPG overhaul. We think you will love it smile .

Metroid- Brinstar Metal
Classic Metroid had wonderful sound. What would it sound like with a heavy metal band playing it?

Dragon Spirit The New Legend- Volcanoes Rock
We cannot take full credit for this one. We just made it sound better smile .

Jurassic Park- Ocean Elex Mix
A simple game, a simple tune, now with a beat.

Mega Man 2- Quick Man
What classic VG Music maker would we be if we didn't do Megaman themes?

Goldeneye 007- Dam
This wasn't a remix.. it was more of a remake and remaster.

Secret of Mana- Ice Palace
A superb remaster by Alarick Garza who captures the essence of the ice.

Star Fox 64- Star Wolf
Can't let you do that Star Fox!! This theme was believed to be obligatory to the whole group smile

Batman- Streets of Desolation Overpowered
Batman was an outstanding game full of form and color that made us old vg fans smile.

Dungeon Master- Scene of Pandemonium OC Remix
We never submitted this to Overclock Remix but its still a great theme.

Super Metroid- Upper Brinstar
A favorite of the group, we took the time to sequence and remaster this beautiful theme.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest- Doom Castle
This game was geared for Americans, as we somehow lacked good ability to play RPGs. Still, the game was good and we have made many FFMQ themes.

Doom- Stage 4
This was designed to sound as if a live band was playing it.

Mega Man 5- Crystal Man
With the enhancements made, this theme sounds much more... crystally?

Final Fantasy 7- Battle Theme
Obligatory for VG Music fans. We put a bit of extra orchestral spice in it, see how you like it.

Brain Lord- Platinum Castle
This theme was made to accurately make the transition of a 16 bit sound to a real sound.

Final Fantasy 6- Devils Lab (Magi-Tek Factory)
No MIDI can ever make it sound this good. The frame work was taken from a crappy MIDI we found and then compounded by proper sequencing and remastering.

Mega Man X- Boomer Kuwanger Special Mix
Alarick Garza Captures the electronic feel of this theme in a more extreme sense.

Hexen 64-Darkmire
We have an extended version of this but since it was not a part of the commission, we have not posted it.

Rad Racer- Song A Metal
This features what seems like a live band playing a classic game theme.

Mega Man 10- Sheep Man
Worst boss, best theme. We know its not really old but we liked it.

Axelay 6-1

Sailor Moon: Another Story- Iceland

Faxanadu Overworld

MegaMan Dr. Wily

Mega Man 2- Skull Castle Depths

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Ice Pyramid

Legendary Wings Ovature

Final Fantasy VI- Dancing Mad Full Battle

Feel free to take what you like and share smile

Ah, I see. Well, nonetheless they sound pretty good, though, actual remakes and covers will pay off in the long run if video game music is your focus.

Of course. I used to dabble in video game remixes myself, but I've moved on to other things.

Hopefully One of my TGL tracks can be made from an awesome graphics artist. I asked rickonami if he would like to put a video to remix 1.
his videos are outstanding, look at this.

That's some pretty amazing work. I've been looking around myself for something I could use for my music on YouTube, but I'm not worried about it at this moment.

Those are pretty good. :> I really should try to do more game covers. Most I've done are gaming related but they don't belong to any game at the moment.

Dapper Genius

These are neat, but I really strongly recommend you do invest in a guitar and play it for some of the covers.
A few instruments can be replicated with acceptable verisimilitude on a MIDI played through a VST/SF2, but an electric guitar really isn't one of them. I've learned that after being frustrated for a few months. Plus you can't do squealies on a MIDI, and I'm a sucker for those (as much as I suck at playing them).
If you don't mind me using, what drums are you using?
