It's actually a pretty good program if you know how to use it correctly.

Correct use = Disuse

Any reason you dislike it?

Other than the fact that anything made in FL sounds like it was made in FL? Or that it cant handle 24bit audio? Or that its basically a glorified sequencer with terrible softsynths and rudimentary recording capabilities?
Other than that, people who know what they are doing just generally don't use it. Leading me to believe that ANYTHING made in fl is going to sound like a**.

If you don't want it to sound like it was made in FL Studio, then use different presets that aren't already within the system. And what do you mean can't handle 24 bit audio? And aren't most, if not all DAWs use a sequencer? As for recording, I wouldn't know. I don't bother recording with it.

The softsyths are garbage. They will always sound like garbage.

If you don't know, you arent cool enough for it, f*****t.

I didn't fault it for *using* a sequencer. Hooked on Phonics, bro. Get you some.

Wow, you had to resort into name calling now. Nice. So what would you recommend? I mean to make "beats" that is?

I recommend Logic.

But if you're a windowsfag, Propellerhead makes some really legit programs.

It only sounds like a** if you don't properly edit sounds and use better effects than FL give you. But you are right, its only really good feature is the sequencer which is why its best to use better instruments than the ones provided. There is nothing wrong with the program itself, its just setup for basic music production, if you want to take it a step further and make something great you have to use other things than whats provided. Which is the same for any program.

FL gets the job done. So does KY. But they will both give you a yeast infection.
MORAL: use better lube.

For some reason, I have a feeling thats the wrong moral....

That being said, I dislike FL's interface, which is why I don't use it.

I don't like newfaggotry and being unprofessional, which is why I don't use it.
I use Orion, which is very unprofessional program but it works best for me because I'm used to the interface, so it makes working in it easier. I just use a massive amount of samples that I get from other places, and use other instruments than what is provided.

Well, are you charging people? or just making your own music?

I couldn't get away with using a program like that. At least not at what I charge currently.

I haven't started charging yet, but I plan to. Currently I only have one song fully done, with vocals and everything, and that track isn't the best honestly. I'm still working on mixing and such, and it will be given away free as a demo.

That song being;
