EDIT: Just listened to it. And yeah, the dirty glass had to have been based on that song. OMG!!!!!! I want to see them so ******** bad, but they only come to my state like once every two or three years. But I compensate with flogging molly, and they put on a hell of a show everytime I see them.

It kinda caught me off guard that you listen to dkm btw

They've got to be one of my favorite bands. Last three times that Flogging Molly's came to town, they've played on either superbowl sunday or new years, and I don't feel like getting T-boned by some drunk a*****e while driving home, so I didn't see them. I've seen the Tossers a few times, umm.. Horrorpops four times, Rancid three times, umm. Can't think of many more. My all time favorite band has to be Black Flag during the era where they were banned from recording and made the original My War in that office building they were living in, or the period when Dez was still singing.

Edit: Here's Fairytale of Newyork. It doesn't start for like a minute and a half, but it has the lulziest lyrics. Also Pogues were one of the first Irish punk bands, so... yeah. Pretty badass. If I Should Fall From Grace With God and Turkish Song of the Damned are amazing too.

To me, Rancid is only good when they're doing an acoustic set or something from Rancid 2000, other than that I consider em a household punk band. Though the last like 5 or 6 tracks off of And Out Come the Wolves were really catchy. And I've never really gotten into black-flag, mainly because from what I heard of them, they seemed like your atypical hardcore punk band that has no emotion in their music.

EDIT: I've listened to quite abit of the pogues (except for that one it seems, thanks for brining it to my attention). My dad was an original punk rocker (i.e like around the time the clash, the ramones, and the pogues were getting noticed here) he had the first clash album on vinyl and it was amazing up until some douche stole the ********.

Black Flag has like five different "Era" type things, They started off with the jackass Keith something or another who sings for the Circle jerks, and they were like an upbeat rock band with a punk twist, went through a bunch of other singers before ending up as more of a noise/thrash band in later years.

When I saw Rancid the first time, I wasn't expecting too much, but it turned out to be one of the best concerts i'd been to probably. They did like every single Op Ivy song there is. Second time I saw them was trash, one of the worst concerts i'd been to, third time I went because my girlfriend wanted to see another band they were with, and they actually did real good. Not amazing though, but it was decent enough. I liked a lot of the Indestructible album, really. Wolves was another good album kinda, before that was a lot of amazing stuff though. I really liked the bass heavy noise stuff like Axiom and white knuckle ride.

I thought of some other really good band I saw live, but now I can't remember.

Edit: moar classic black flag that is obligatory to listen to. This is the upbeat style that they used to do a lot more of.
