On the plus side - you sound just like Ingrid Michaelson.

On the down side - you sound just like Ingrid Michaelson.

gonk hwha?? gonk

If I wanted to hear Ingrid sing it - I'd go listen to her sing it. Try your own take on it. And maybe lose the spoken parts - they're kind of cheesy and distracting, like the spoken add-ons in Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Funny, but full of cheese.

You're clearly capable of singing - you're on pitch, you didn't do any dumb diction mistakes, and this is generally a great cover.

Now go do something more with it. smile
You aren't a terrible vocalist.
That said, you don't seem to know what to do with your voice. Your singing is uninspired, and without a whole lot of feeling or power. Find something you can sing about that makes you WANT to sing. Or just learn to fake it like everyone else.

Basically, you need to go out of your way not to be bland, same-y, and boring.
The best thing for you to do with this would be to make it your own. When you do the spoken parts, you sound like you feel ridiculous. Learn how to do different things with your voice. Try to sing like a broad spectrum of singers and see where your natural voice lies.
This whisper singing seems to be pretty popular lately, but there's not a lot you can do with it.
ur sound super breathy .. try using ur diaphragm .. that will give u some more power , and u are lacking feeling , be aggressive, also expand the types of song u sing so u can accomplish more than just one genre , sound , also try doing basic warm ups ( do re me fa so la ti do,and keep climbing ) for the sake of lost vowels, words, improve vocal range, dynamics E.C.T and it will help with any imperfection in tuning , you just really need to belt out those tough notes .. over all ur not bad and good luck!
practice on putting more strength into your voice... but other than that... i like it! Ingrid M. is one of my favorite artists, and you sound so much like her! Beautiful... heart
