You're good.
Just not amazing enough for me, I guess.
Which sounds ******** up and snobby.
I'm just surrounded by amazing singers every day so it's amazingly hard for me to say anything.
You're very good, but not good in the way I wish you were.
You seem alto-y to me, and Beyonce is a Soprano2. Therefore, this is why your high pitches are rocky.
You could lower it to your voice.
I know I have nothing to sing in my range (bass2. Wtf) so I just sing everything down an octave.
1) Please never refer to people's voicetypes as "Soprano2" or "Bass2" these are not vocal types. These are voice parts. You could be a Baritone singing Bass2, you could be an Alto singing Tenor 2, these mean nothing.
2) Beyonce is not classically trained. We have no clue what her actual voice type is.
3) In the real world, a mezzo and a sopranot have virtually the same range, the only difference is the tessitura that the voice is most comfortable in.
4) There is a lot of Bass2 rep out there, you just need to look for it.
Anyway:
I like your chestvoice a lot. I think doing some headvoice exercises would help out a lot. Try sirening from your low notes to your high notes without breaking. If you feel tension, stop and start over. Don't be afraid to let your voice flip as it is finding itself.
When warming up try letting your jaw sit like it's floating. Try moving it back and forth with your hands (NOT with your muscles) while singing. You want to get rid of tension in the jaw, because it causes tension in the back of the throat.
Try opening up some more space to resonate. Stand up, fold in half, and bend your legs a little so the top of your head is facing the ground. Feel the force of gravity on your pallate. It should feel like an open space towards the back of your mouth. Try saying some "a" "e" "i" "o" and "u". Make sure you're not tensing up or letting the pallate become rigid.
While down like that, take some small breaths in, somewhere around 10, the slowly rise. Use that breath you've gathered to sing through a warmup or line of a song.
Do these every day and see if that helps.
