In undergrad, I got to play a Fazioli piano, handmade in Venice, higher quality than Steinways or Yamahas, but I think most concert halls are fine with the cheap expense of Steinways, versus Faziolis which run about $20,000 more. GORGEOUS sound, especially in the lower registers when playing Rachmaninoff. I performed Rhapsody in Blue on a Fazioli. Amazing.

But few can ever afford such a piano. So this year, I did some searching and managed to find a used grand piano for just $1600!! It's old, and not perfect, but it plays and has a WONDERFUL resonance. The piano consignor (piano/tuning specialist) said she's never heard a piano with the kind of resonance my piano has. It's a Muehlhauser case and action possibly with a Premier Soundboard.

The ESP Sanskrit ~.~ Why is the most awesome stuff not sold in the US?

And the Schecter SD

Also not sold in the US, dammit.
Gretsch White Falcon guitar. Ever since I saw one in the anime Beck (which any music fan would probably love) I've had a thing for it. It just oozes class and style. I'm not good enough to deserve it, but it sure would be boss.

I have a want for so many instruments... A bassoon, A trombone, another Baritone (more of an advance kind) a tenor sax, and a marching baritone. heart like literally sweatdrop

Shy Friend

An electric lyre. It's a very interesting sound and concept, and I think it would be incredibly fun to build one.
A left-handed, 5 string, Music Man StingRay bass. Or maybe even a lefty 5-string Steinberger Synapse.

That would make my day.
A cello, a violin, a Nord 2 keyboard, a Moog synthesizer keyboard, a handmade classical guitar from a professional luthier, a tenor saxophone, A Taylor Acoustic, an expensive Ovation acoustic-electric, A Jazzbox acoustic-electric, a nice Gretsch semihollow electric guitar, an upright acoustic piano, a nice mic/ PA system, an electric drum set, some nice pads, an upright bass, a lapsteel, a resonator guitar, a guitalele, a nice mandolin, a guitar banjo, a Gibson Les Paul, an SG, a nice didgeridoo, the Stick, harmonicas in every key, a vocoder, a soprano saxophone, a clarinet, a nice electric bass, a nice acoustic bass, a fretless guitar, an electric violin, a GuitarViol, a koto, and a nice kazoo. That is all.

A cello.

Lonely Leaf

I would love to trade in my 85SG harp for a Lyon & Healy Salzedo harp <3____<3
I'd make a custom shop baritone 6 string guitar, 27" scale length, 1 11/16" at the nut, 12.5mm string spacing at the bridge, 24 frets, passive circuit (volume, tone, pickup blend knob, or maybe a fender custom shop 4-way switch), and custom designed nordstrand single coil pickups. Ash body with quilted maple top, wenge neck and a pau ferro fingerboard. The body style is sort of a cross between a tele and an sg.

lol, I play bass.

Ladykiller

Am I the only one who wants one of these? razz
