All that is gold does not glitter,

Eighties music; Queen, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, etc.

Not all those who wander are lost.
In the term of "Classic Rock".
Mainly 80s/90s alternative music and trip-hop.

Reggae, until I was about eight when I started listening to other things that I heard on the radio like, Nine Inch Nails, the Offspring, Orgy, etc
I distinctly remember Jason Mraz, Match Box 20, The Hives, Maroon 5, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle, and Roy Orbison.

Ugh, what an awful childhood.
Raised on 90s grungy rock. All my friends love classic rock, and I hate my music. When I was younger after the kid friendly music video show (the Hit List) would be the older audience show (something with Mad Dog Michaels) and the music videos they showed used to scared me. Videos from bands like NIN, Tool, and Marilyn Manson that horrified me are now, surprise, some of my favourite bands (but more a perfect circle than tool, sorry).

im not gunna lie when i was growing up i was listening to the normal music of the 90s. to name a few smashmouth, nitorious BIG, the titanic song, ect. but when i actually started to grow to know music like other stuff it was classics like AFI, Circa Survive, Bayside, He is Legend. i will ALWAYS go back to 90s music though if i get too bored of the regular stuff going around these days. I wish i just had a time machine to go and live those moments of listening to smashing pumpkins with my hand out the window. BLEHHHHHH. whee
