blink used to be my all time fav still love em though, panic at the disco okay now i have something to say about them and some other music out there today, now if you listen to a perfect circle or tool or smashing pumkins or even alice and chains and pearl jam, now those bands had songs that mean something where as panic at the disco sounds like they havent even gone through puberty acting like they want to make some teens heart beat faster... wtf...? i mean bare with me here i used to be obsessed with P!ATD but really listen and you might know what i mean...........

While it's difficult to read that...mess of a paragraph you just posted, I did manage to pick that out. Please, from someone who actually listens to and likes those bands, don't hold them up as anything particularly omg deep and meaningful. Half of their s**t is angstridden wordvomit, and the other half is overplayed, commercialized corporate "alt rock." It doesn't mean anything more or less than, well...anything else that gets radio play, and listening to any of those bands does not make you paricularly edgy, cool, or hardcore.

I think that Paramore could be a decent band if they got rid of that horrible vocalist.

No, the best thing about the band is easily the lead guitarist. That dude is one of the best guitarists I ever heard in my entire life. Which is odd because he is in such a horrible band. And what makes the band horrible is the vocalist and the lyrics. The only reason the band is so famous (including with 12 yr old girls) is because their is a girl doing vocals and the lyrics are usually things about "boys" and s**t that attracts little girls. But if you listen to the music without the vocalist, the band is very good.

haven't heard of onberlin or rocket summer. Really like Cute is What We Aim For, I love 'Crush'. Paramore rock, nuff said. Panic are the bomb, AAR are brilliant (love their lyrics and melodies!). Never gopt into Blink 182 but they're pretty good. Boys Like Girls? Not sure who they are. MCR - really like em, I think they're bitchin', they get too much emo bashing it's totally unfair. Coldplay are awesome - parachutes was they're best album but I love A Rush Of Blood... X&Y were good for a couple of hits and Viva La Vida I find is really cool. Death Cab are great, really chill music, fantastic. The format, haven't heard of. Hellogoodbye, dunno but I've heard good things bout em. Haven't heard of saosin. Jonas Bros are okay. MSI are better live than on record, I hadn't heard of em til I saw em supporting MCR, they were on fire! I adore Evanescence, Amy Lee's vocals are amazing. Haven't heard of Within Temptation or Matchbox 20. I like Maroon 5. Tokio Hotel? Mmmmmeh.

All is my own personal opinion! Have you ever heard Crystal Castles?????

trs has had some really good songs in the past.
and they deatch cab cds i've listened to are good, though i wouldn't say they're an ultimate favorite.
