I'm looking for some new music to listen to (:
I love alternative, rock/pop, and electronic (which is really growing on me.)
I have 2,000+ songs, which only take up 7GB and I really want to justify my 80GB (:

I don't know what all you listen to, so I'll blindly mention random artists/albums. biggrin

The Birthday Massacre (Violet), Walking with Strangers)
Buckethead (Colma, Electric Tears)
Chemlab (Burn out at the Hydrogen Bar)
Combichrist (Everybody Hates You)
Depeche Mode (Catching Up with Depeche Mode, Black Celebration, Music for the Masses)
The Future Sounds of London (Dead Cities)
Ladytron (Velocifero)
London After Midnight (Selected Scenes from the End of the World)
Meat Loaf
R.E.M.
Wham!

I am so incredibly bored with my current music, I could just die. I've already deleted over 200 of my 1500 songs from my library. It's awful. I need new music. Badly.

I like artists like Angels and Airwaves, Switchfoot, Blink-182, Owl City, Missy Higgins, Bowling For Soup, Coldplay... I'm into acoustic, indie, and alternative mostly.

Any recommendations would be adored. sweatdrop

Check out Five for Fighting (America Town), Ivy (Long Distance), Fleet Foxes (Fleet Foxes), Reel Big Fish (Cheer Up!) and Explosions in the Sky (The Rescue and All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone).
Anything italicized is what album I recommend you start with 3nodding .
The Rescue is downloadable from the band's website.

If you like catcy pop-punk I would suggest The Ramones. In fact if you like good rock I would recommend The Ramones. Greatest punk band of all time.

I like slower, really chill music.
And if not that, I like stuff like the white stripes, fall of troy, all that jazz.
And who doesn't like LMFAO. C'mon.

But if you're into the same kind of music I am, you should def. check out Islands, Sufjan Stevens, Leonard Cohen, Bloc Party, We Are Scientists, The Raconteurs, THE SPILL CANVAS <3 and Yiruma.
Yeah.
