I went to Bonnaroo this year, and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The drive down was horrible, because it was from Massachusetts to Tennessee. The 21 hours was completely worth it. We got to see M.I.A.'s last concert, Cat Power, Gogol Bordello, Lupe Fiasco, Stephen Marley (who played pretty much all Bob Marley songs, which was kind of lame.), Sigur Ros, and a whole mess of others.

We also got to see Kanye West ******** up big time, and someone toss a beer bottle on stage and break one of his L.E.D. lights.

Downside; We broke down on the New Jersey turnpike on the way home. :[

I was lucky enough to go to Nylon's Summer Tour with my fiance (I've only bought/read their magazine once- it was a coincidence really). I wanted to see She Wants Revenge when their debut cd came out, but was broke at the time. We arrived late for the Switches, saw the Virgins and bought their demo cd, was energized by Be Your Own Pet, and only stayed for 3/4 of She Wants Revenge :<
but we were both wiped from our day at La Ronde (Quebec's version of Six Flags).
all in all, pretty awesome stuff.

I haven't seen anyone share their experiences yet, so here goes. o_o
I went to Warped on 6/26 in Las Cruces. Mostly because I live two minutes from the NMSU campus but also because it's the only thing I look forward to in the summer. ;D
Exciting.

Oh, and Jeffree Star went on too for Hollaback Boy. ;P It was great.
I was in the front center at the rail. ;D I touched Gabe's sweaty arm, it was magnificent. Also I got to meet the entire band later, which was fun.

I was in the very middle and there was a crazy amount of crowdsurfers. I wasn't paying attention half the time because I kept looking back to see when another was coming.

I saw a lot more than those bands but my camera kept screwing up since before AvA there was some guy with a hose or gigantic water gun that kept firing at the entire crowd, and then a bottle fight started. xD
Against Me, Say Anything, Reel Big Fish (I skanked to their cover of Take On Me. Fun.), The Devil Wears Prada, The Horrorpops, 1997, Valencia, Jeffree Star.
Looking forward to next year already.

I saw Poison and Dokken last night, they were amazing! Missed Crue Fest, unfortunately! Going to see Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick next Friday. And was going to also see Cinderella and Warrant, but they cancelled that tour. And Boston/Styx are playing in some casino town on the border of my state, I wish I could go, but I don't think I'll make it.
